Dear Subscriber,

For the last seven consecutive years, AustCham ASEAN has published an annual Australian Business in ASEAN Survey to assist in promoting trade and investment between Australia and the ASEAN region.
AustCham ASEAN is the predominant advocacy voice for Australian business within ASEAN. Our purpose is to support our members to deepen Australian business engagement with ASEAN. Our Foundation Members represent the Australian business chambers across 10 countries in ASEAN including Cambodia, Brunei, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Our Annual Survey provides unparalleled insights into the confidence and plans of the Australian business community in ASEAN. Insights from this report are utilised to inform key policymakers as to the opportunities and challenges in each individual member state and across the region.

2024 is set to be one of the most important years as Australia commemorates 50 years of being an official dialogue partner of ASEAN. Preparations for the Special Summit to be held in Melbourne, Australia from 4th to the 6th of March 2024 are underway and AustCham ASEAN via RMIT has been requested to produce this year’s survey report for publication alongside the summit. RMIT University will manage the production and coordination of the 2023/2024 survey. We request that you assist us in gathering data by completing the survey:
