The UK-ASEAN Business Council and the ASEAN Business Advisory Council in partnership with the UK’s Department for International Trade are delighted to present the UK-ASEAN Business Forum 2022.
The Forum will bring together key figures from the UK and Southeast Asia to discuss the deepening UK-ASEAN relationship and to explore areas of focus for the year ahead. Cambodia’s theme for its Chairmanship of ASEAN in 2022 is ‘ASEAN A.C.T.’ (Addressing Challenges Together).
Covid-19 continues to pose significant challenges globally, but as vaccines roll out and global economic demand picks up, we can work jointly towards a strong and sustainable recovery. The pandemic has accelerated digital adoption and prompted a rethink of business models and supply chains.
As the future of work and consumption shifts, the digital economy, cyber security, data management and governance are key opportunities for growing the UK and ASEAN partnership. Climate change continues to be a priority for Southeast Asia as the region seeks green growth to ensure a sustainable future.
Innovative solutions using green finance to meet Southeast Asia’s energy transition and economic growth need to be found to ensure a resilient future.
The UK-ASEAN Business Forum will take place in London and online, with participation from across the UK and Southeast Asia. |

The Manual was created and coordinated by Rouse & Co International, in conjunction with PwC, the FSIP Programme. Our friends in the International Business Chamber of Cambodia are acting as National Coordinator of the Local Initiative between the Royal Government of Cambodia and the Private Sector in Collaboration with the World Economic Forum on an Accelerator program.
They are conducting an online consultation with the Private Sector to discuss the Challenges, Gaps, and Opportunities within Re-skilling, and Up-skilling Cambodia's Workforce of the Future.
They are looking to get as much feedback from as many different sectors as possible.
