Immigration Department of Malaysia | Reminder to Complete and Resubmit Returned Applications |

Effective 1 October 2024, any returned applications that remain unsubmitted at the company's returned application inbox for over 90 days will be automatically cancelled by the ESD Online. |
|
|
Please be aware that the processing fee for these cancelled dormant applications will be forfeited and is non-refundable.
However, there are a few exceptions to consider. Please review the following situations: - Upon feature implementation, all applications returned on or before 30 April 2024 that remain unsubmitted will be automatically cancelled.
- For applications returned on or after 1 May 2024, you are encouraged to complete and resubmit them if you wish to continue with your application. If these applications remain unsubmitted by 1 January 2025, they will be automatically cancelled.
- If returned applications are automatically cancelled due to pending documents and a longer time required to provide them, please email a justification to our helpdesk for deliberation.
This message is a reminder to review and complete your returned applications.

GSK's Arexvy Vaccine for RSV Approved in Malaysia |

GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceutical Sdn Bhd (GSK) announced that the Arexvy vaccine (MAL20486007ARZ) has been approved in Malaysia for respiratory syncytial virus (RSV). |
|
|
RSV is a common respiratory virus that can lead to serious negative clinical outcomes, such as lower respiratory tract disease (LRTD) and pneumonia in older adults.
"At GSK, we believe that prevention is the most beneficial intervention that we can have for patients and healthcare systems... GSK | Shingles Vaccine Now Available in Malaysia |
|

|
On September 10, GSK announced the launch of its Herpes Zoster vaccine, Shingrix, also known as Recombinant Zoster Vaccine, Adjuvanted (RZV) in Malaysia for the prevention of shingles (herpes zoster, HZ) and post-herpetic neuralgia (PHN) in adults aged 50 years and over. |

RZV is a non-live, recombinant subunit adjuvanted vaccine given intramuscularly in two doses.
RZV will initially be available in Malaysia to adults aged 50 and over and those aged 18 and over who are at increased risk of HZ.
