What would you do in a dispute?
Explore the power of mediation! (Tomorrow, 21 July)

Arising from COVID-19, there has been multitude of disputes in all sectors resulting from supply chain disruptions to lockdown financial woes. Most businesses cannot afford the time and money of formal dispute resolution processes through the court, arbitration and adjudication. Amicable settlements are not always achievable. Mediation may be that in-between option that may be the way to unlock the door to achieving negotiated settlements. Topic of discussions will include:
  • What is mediation and the practicalities of deploying it effectively to resolve disputes?
  • What takes place at mediation?
  • Isn't arbitration and adjudication supposed to be quick and cheap? And court being a public service?
  • Who can you turn to when you need help?
