Travellers arriving in the United Kingdom (UK) from Malaysia will no longer be required to undergo mandatory quarantine. Malaysia was added to the travel corridor exemption list at 11am [on 11 August 2020].
British High Commissioner to Malaysia Charles Hay said this was particularly good news for the thousands of students who would be making their way to the UK to continue their studies.
Foreign Minister Hishammuddin Hussein said the decision showed the strong bilateral relationship between the UK and Malaysia. |

Invest Selangor and UMW Development Sdn Bhd visits BMCC office
Fellow Sterling member, Invest Selangor visited the BMCC office with representatives from UMW Development Sdn Bhd to discuss the strengthening of bilateral trade between UK and Malaysia with particular focus on the state of Selangor within the Aerospace and manufacturing sectors. The meeting also covered prospects of future collaborations.

BMCC visit to GCH Retail Sdn Bhd

The BMCC will be hosting our Annual General Meeting (AGM 2020) on 25 August from 3:00 - 4.30pm, at Ballroom 3 Level 2, Intercontinental Hotel Kuala Lumpur. Important notice: 1. Only one (1) representative per member company can attend the AGM and is eligible to vote.
2. In the event the Principal or Corporate Representative is unable to attend, the member company can appoint one proxy to attend and vote in his / her stead. A proxy may but need not be a member of the company. The Proxy Form downloadable in the link provided below must be filled and returned to us no later than 48 hours before the start of the AGM.
3. No member shall be entitled to attend and vote at any general meeting unless all subscription fees presently payable to the Chamber has been paid.

Inaugural Year 11 IGCSEs – setting the bar high
