VP of Customer Success at QAD

Adam is the leader at the helm of QAD's Global Customer Success team, where he holds the pivotal responsibility for ensuring the success and widespread adoption of QAD solutions. With a rich background spanning over two decades in Enterprise Software Sales, Adam has successfully led the establishment of Customer Success teams at prominent companies like Teradata and Qlik. His notable contributions include creating the Customer Advocate program at Cognos and spearheading the Solution Advisors customer success program at IBM. Adam deeply embeds his holistic approach in QAD's Customer Success philosophy, aiming to ensure customers derive maximum value from our products.

Residing in lively Miami with his wife, Carla, and their two children, Theo and Sofia, Adam is not only a dedicated professional but also a committed family man. Beyond his leadership role, he actively supports his children in their artistic and athletic pursuits. When not engaged in family activities, Adam channels his energy into swimming, biking, and running, preparing for his next triathlon.

CARLOS COLMENARES has been working with QAD across multiple verticals since the last millennium, in a variety of roles: developer, DBA, business analyst, team leader, consultant. He also has an MBA from ISU. As a result, his skillset is a blend of technical knowledge, application knowledge, business process and business acumen. This blend results in the ability to analyze the challenges that QAD users face from many different points of view. Carlos has been with Sungate Solutions since 2015.

Daniel has been working with Progress Software since 1989 and was introduced to QAD in 1996. He has designed, developed, and implemented systems across North American and Europe. Over his career, he has worked as a programmer, database administrator, software author, independent consultant, trainer, speaker, consulting business owner and director of business development.

Daniel currently works as a Customer Success Executive for Adaptivity and is doing what he loves the most, servicing the QAD and Progress OpenEdge communities. His keen interest in manufacturing and strong technical background drives his passion and enthusiasm for promoting future innovations. 

Daniel has a bachelor’s degree in computer information science from Bloomsburg University - PA and is a veteran of United States Army Reserve. He currently resides in Peachtree Corners, Georgia.

SCOTT DULECKI has been making QAD software dance since 1994. He’s worked for QAD, its partners, and its customers and has written books on QAD and Progress. In addition to presenting at QAD and Progress conferences and groups large, small, and in-between, Scott serves on the board of the QAD Midwest and Southeast User Groups as well as the Michigan and West Michigan Progress User Groups. He specializes in bridging the gap between technology and business, helping end users accomplish their goals while ensuring the business succeeds as well. For fun he plays drums and builds things

Amanda Goodson, Senior Solutions Architect at Strategic Information Group, demonstrates her passion for learning, teaching, and continuous improvement with over 20 years of achievements, career success, and excellence in the disciplines she practices. She holds an MBA and certifications in PMP and CPIM, with practical experience in accounting, audit, supply chain, ERP implementations, and project management. In 2019, she was honored as the Women of Professional Excellence by the YWCA of Greater Cleveland for her community service, career success, and mentoring. In 2020, she received The Lubrizol Foundation's Founders Award for her commitment to community service.

Steve currently manages the QAD and Pro2 Services teams in North America. Prior to joining Progress, Steve headed up a Progress-based consulting firm for 30 years which specialized in creating custom business applications, supporting existing third-party applications, and providing DBA and system administration support for national and international companies. Steve also has a degree in Electrical Engineering specializing in Data/Telecom and served as Vice President of Engineering for a voice processing company.

DAVID KWO joined Logan Consulting in 2001. David works primarily on business development within the manufacturing space, focusing on both complex ERP engagements as well as technology projects surrounding mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. David excels at developing and maintaining sound business relationships. He is also responsible for building and managing alliances with world-class technology partners.
He has extensive experience in hardware and software platforms for the manufacturing industry. David has an MBA from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and received his BA in Mathematics from Indiana University.

Previously coming from the chemical manufacturing world, Emma McGlade leads QAD Redzone’s Southeast new business team. She is passionate about empowering frontline workers and helping them grow within their roles. She visits manufacturers across the country on a weekly basis to help them tackle industry challenges. When she’s not walking the shop floor, she enjoys spending time with friends, being with her two cats, Jake and Leo, and traveling the world.

Joe McMahon is the Supply Chain Manager at AmSafe, Inc. AmSafe is the Aerospace industries' leading safety restraint manufacturer. Joe’s career has focused on operational data management and integrating corporate ERP systems with external supplier and customer data sources. These integrated data sets were used to streamline both order processing and transaction reporting at manufacturing sites and fulfillment centers. Within his role at AmSafe, Inc. Joe has collaborated with Cyberscience to utilize Cyberquery to combine data from multiple ERP installs, generating user-friendly Excel tools for quick access to historical transaction as well as role specific filtered data sets. In addition to dashboard outputs Cyberquery is being used as a data mining tool to generate predictive analysis forecasts to compliment QAD's built in tools.

TOM OLDHAM has worked with Progress since 1992, QAD since 1993 and Cyberquery since 2004. He spent 27 years with Mueller Industries in varying roles from Finance to I.T. Tom has managed and participated in numerous ERP and Business Analytics projects. He was largely responsible for building a robust Data Warehouse using SQL, Progress and Cyberquery to help drive Mueller’s business analytics from ad hoc reports to Sales Force CRM tools to Executive Scorecards and Dashboards. He left Mueller in 2019 as a Director in I.T. to pursue a career and passion at Cyberscience in helping clients with their reporting and analysis needs. Tom has a B.S. in Finance from Kansas State University and is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) as well as Certified in Financial Management (CFM).

Started IT career in Atlanta area in the mortgage industry in 2004 as a HelpDesk Tech. Transitioned to Manufacturing IT in 2004 as Helpdesk Tech then EDI Analyst. Had roles as EDI Coordinator then transitioned to Application Support (including QAD/EAM) in 2016. Had role as IT Manager last year and transitioned to IT Application Supervisor and supervising development and support of all MES/ERP/.NET/EDI/BI applications.

Ron has implemented ERP systems including QAD and other ERP systems at approximately 100 sites worldwide, and will bring those experiences to his presentation at the Fall 2022 Southeast User Group meeting
