Dr. Jennifer Messina
Founder of Messina Leadership Advising and FORTEWith 20 plus years of clinical and consulting experience, Dr. Jennifer Messina has collaborated with leaders and their teams across a range of industries to actualize their potential, enhance communication, and promote positive change across their organizations. She partners with Founders and CEO as a strategic business consultant to ensure optimal internal operations, a growth-promoting culture, effective leadership and external engagement to realize the vision of their companies.
Dr. Messina’s competence-based approach is highly interpersonal – striving to harness and build health and positivity across individuals and systems. She brings a strong understanding of organizational dynamics and a flexible, collaborative style that drives meaningful change. With warmth and humor, Dr. Messina integrates wisdom from research and practice to help her clients flourish.
A graduate of Dartmouth College (’93), Dr. Messina obtained her masters (’94) and doctorate (’99) degrees in Clinical Psychology from the University of Virginia. Dr. Messina completed an internship at Duke University Medical Center and a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Virginia. Dr. Messina is the founder of Messina Leadership Advising and FORTE.
