David Henry is President of DKH Inc., a company he founded to provide real estate consulting and brokerage services to multi-national corporations. He is also a member of UCLA Anderson’s award-winning team of MBA leadership coaches.
Over his 25-year career, David has led the negotiation of real estate transactions valued at over $2 billion for clients such as Disney, Parsons, Dole, JP Morgan Chase, and Willis. He has also led more than 1,000 leadership workshops and individual coaching sessions. Prior to launching his company, David was Senior Vice President of the world’s largest real estate company, CBRE. He also held leadership positions at Jones Lang LaSalle, Deloitte Consulting, and The Chase Manhattan Bank.
David’s favorite quote is: “Of those to whom much has been given, much is expected in return.” For three years, he lived in a slum of Nairobi, Kenya and served the poor alongside Mother Theresa’s Sisters of Charity. More recently, David served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Los Angeles Ronald McDonald House. He has traveled in 50 countries and is fluent in the language of Swahili.
Referred to by some as the most inspirational pre-game speaker in high school sports, David received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Duke University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. At Kellogg, he was the recipient of the Austin Scholarship – the school’s most prestigious scholarship given for exemplary leadership in challenging circumstances.
