Jon-Michael C. Brook, Cloud Based Solutions Lead Technologist, has more than 18 years of experience in Information Security. He holds a BS-CEN from the University of Florida and an MBA from the University of South Florida. He obtained a number of industry certifications, including the CISSP and CCSK, holds patents & trade secrets in intrusion detection, enterprise network controls, cross domain security and semantic data redaction, and has a special interest in privacy. He contributed to a number of CSA projects over the past 5 years, and currently co-chairs the CSA Top Threats Working Group.

Mr. Chaudhry is Principal Architect in the Cloud & Data Center Security Group at TrendMicro. He has 13 years of experience in delivering a broad range of information-security solutions to diverse companies and organizations. He has a progressive information security career with track record of success in systems architecture/design, system integration/deployment and system security/user management. He is well-versed in cloud computing, security products and middleware platform components. He holds strong capabilities in collecting and analyzing complex technical problems and turning commercial products into an integrated solution for customers. As a Principal Architect he produces solution/reference architectures, writes design papers, participates in pre-sales activities to help close new engagements as well as delivers talks in various conferences around the world and writes blogs for Trend Micro.

Sean Cordero is the founder of Cloud Watchmen, an information security consulting company focused on solving root cause compliance and IT security issues that plague businesses. Sean is the former CSO for EdFund and has provided his advice and expertise to C-level leaders for billion dollar plus, public and private organizations. He is a certified CISSP, CISM, CISA and CRISC.

John DiMaria is a management system professional, Six Sigma Black Belt, certified Holistic Information Security Practitioner (HISP) Master HISP and AMBCI with 28 years of experience in Management System Development, including Information Systems, Quality Assurance, International Quality Standards, Statistical Process Control, Regulatory Affairs, Customer Service, Subcontractor Analysis and Marketing/Sales. John is responsible for overseeing product roll-out and client/sales education. He is the product expertise spokesperson for BSI Group Americas regarding all product standards covering Risk, Quality and Regulatory Compliance.

John serves on many committees that influence legislation and drive international harmonization including serving as the co-chair for the CSA OCF Working group and was the project manager during the development and rollout of STAR Certification.

John has been featured in and contributed to many publications concerning various topics regarding information security and business continuity.

ID Quantique is the world leader in quantum-safe crypto solutions, designed to protect data for the long-term future. The quantum-safe division is responsible for all aspects of high-level encryption, including: key generation based on quantum random number generation; quantum key distribution; key management; and multi-protocol network encryption systems. Bruno is an engineer and a physicist, who has worked on quantum cryptography at the early times. He is one of the founders of Luciol Instruments, a company active in Test & Measurement equipment for optical fibres. He joined ID Quantique in 2014.

Junaid Islam has been leading player in the networking industry for over 20 years. He is the founder of Vidder, which developed the first cloud-based perimeter security solution for high value applications. Prior to founding Vidder, Junaid founded Bivio Networks which was the first programmable deep packet inspection (DPI) platform for security & surveillance applications.

Earlier in his career, Junaid played a leading role on the development & commercialization of Frame Relay, ATM & VoIP as an architect at StrataCom & Cisco. Junaid has also provided consulting to Fortune 500 companies and US government agencies on secure communications. Junaid currently serves as the Co-Chair of the Software Defined Perimeter Working Group for the Cloud Security Alliance.

Chris is currently the Sr. Manager of Security and Compliance at Okta, a leading Cloud Identity and Access Management provider, where he is responsible for corporate compliance, application assessment, and responding to customer security inquiries. He also leads the Cloud Security Alliance Data Governance Working Group. Prior to Okta, Chris spent 6 years leading the adoption of Cloud Technologies at LinkedIn, helping them grow from 350 to over 6,800 employees. He started his career designing, developing, and delivering content management, system administration, and messaging solutions for customers such as Nestle, Cisco, AMD, Telus, and the US Department of Defense.

When not setting policy, Chris is an active member of the Northern California ski community, where he volunteers with the Tahoe Backcountry Ski Patrol performing search & rescue, and teaching ski mountaineering & outdoor survival.

For many years, Jim Reavis has worked in the information security industry as an entrepreneur, writer, speaker, technologist and business strategist. Jim’s innovative thinking about emerging security trends have been published and presented widely throughout the industry and have influenced many. Jim is helping shape the future of information security and related technology industries as co-founder, CEO and driving force of the Cloud Security Alliance. Jim is the President of Reavis Consulting Group, LLC, where he advises security companies, governments, large enterprises and other organizations on the implications of new trends such as Cloud, Mobility, Internet of Things and how to take advantage of them. Jim founded SecurityPortal, the Internet’s largest website devoted to information security in 1998, and guided it until a successful exit in 2000. Jim has been an advisor on the launch of many industry ventures that have achieved a successful M&A exit or IPO. Jim is widely quoted in the press and has worked with hundreds of corporations on their information security strategy and technology roadmap. Jim has a background in networking technologies, marketing, product management and systems integration. Jim received a B.A. in Business Administration / Computer Science from Western Washington University in 1987 and serves on WWU’s alumni board.

Brian Russell is a Chief Engineer focused on Cyber Security Solutions for Leidos (www.leidos.com). He oversees the design and development of security solutions and the implementation of privacy and trust controls for customers. Brian leads efforts that include security engineering for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and Connected Cars, the design of secure next- generation energy systems (microgrids) and the development of high assurance cryptographic key management systems.
