Event Details

This presentation by the Tempe Police Department is designed to help small businesses and other organizations understand the importance of developing an emergency response plan and the need to train employees on how to respond if confronted with an active shooter. This program will also give participants an enhanced awareness level on acts of targeted violence, how to avoid them and what to expect should the worst happen.


Attendees can expect to learn:


  • How to maintain situational awareness
  • Knowing what to expect from First Responders in the event of an active shooter incident
  • Familiarity with "Run, Hide and Fight"


Registration is required for this event, a light breakfast and coffee from The Sweetest Seasonwill be served.
