His experiences and superior capabilities have transformed and improved startups, public and private organizations. He is passionate about social empowerment, innovation, and cultural education. Apart from his involvement in NGOs and public services, he is also interested in business strategy consulting, particularly in ESG and CSR practices.
Challenges are never an obstacle to Nelson. He views them as a motivation to improve further. Having contracted cerebral palsy as an infant, he was a frequent visitor at the hospital. The road was not easy but he made his way and was awarded a BSc in Statistics and Computer Science from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He also completed the Master of Arts in Quantitative Analysis in Business from the City University of Hong Kong and a Master of Business Administration from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Disability and rehabilitation are issues that remain close to his heart and with which he devoted a lot of his energy.
