Michelle Cooper is the Health Education Specialist for the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence (PCADV), where she provides training and technical assistance to all PCADV funded domestic violence programs on topics related to the health impact of intimate partner violence. She received a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from Penn State University and spent 4 years as a Medical and Human Trafficking Advocate for the YWCA York before joining the PCADV Victim Services team. Michelle also provides leadership to the Healthy Adolescents Promoted by Partnerships for Youth (HAPPY) grant, which focuses on universal education and warm referral between school nurses, domestic violence programs, and family planning clinics in order to identify and provide community resources for teens experiencing adolescent relationship abuse.
