Read Bio Nicole Jacobi Nicole Jacobi-Ryan has been with Probation for 27 years and in 2018 she was selected as the Vicinage Chief Probation Officer of the Bergen County Probation Division. She is responsible for all Supervision staff, Adult and Juvenile, as well as the Child Support Unit. She currently serves on the Probation Conference and serves as Chair of the Juvenile Mangers Committee. She graduated from Douglass College, Rutgers University in 1992 with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology as well as a Certification in Criminology. In 1997 she received her Master’s Degree in Education, Administration and Supervision from Seton Hall University.

She supervises all Supervisors and Probation Officers in Juvenile and Adult Supervision, including specialized Domestic Violence, Sexually Abuse Behavior, Drug Court, and Mental Health case types. She graduated from Rutgers University in 2002 with Bachelor’s degrees in both Administration of Justice and Psychology, as well as a Certification in Criminology.

Read Bio Jessica A. Gomperts, Esq. Jessica A. Gomperts has served as an Assistant Bergen County Prosecutor since September 2000. During her tenure, she has worked in the Appellate, Juvenile, Grand Jury, and Trial Sections of the office. Since January 2011, she has been assigned to the Domestic Violence Squad, where she serves as the Chief. Ms. Gomperts obtained her law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law and her undergraduate degree from Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts, with a double major in psychology and philosophy and a minor in ethics and public policy. Prior to coming to the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, she was a law clerk to Justice Virginia Long, first in the Appellate Division in 1998-1999, and then in the Supreme Court in 1999-2000. Ms. Gomperts is a frequent lecturer on the topics of domestic violence, dating violence, and LGBTQ issues. She is a Police Training Commission certified instructor and teaches extensively to police officers, attorneys, and students. Ms. Gomperts also serves as a trustee on the Bergen County Bar Association Board of Trustees.
