Read Bio Michael L. Kingman, Esq. Mr. Kingman is the author of An Introduction to Municipal Court and an instructor for mandatory ICLE credits in courses on Municipal Court practice. Mr. Kingman has served as prosecutor for Teaneck, Fair Lawn, Upper Saddle River, North Arlington, Dumont, and New Milford and as Chief Prosecutor of the Bergen County Central Municipal Court. He has also served as the Borough of Cresskill’s Public Defender. In 1991, he was appointed Special Master to the Judge Attorney Ethics proceedings. He is a former president of the Bergen County Bar Association, founding trustee, board member and former president of the Bergen County Bar Foundation, and has served as an adjunct professor at Fairleigh Dickinson University.
