Corporate Governance Foundational Course for Myanmar SMEs

For companies that value accountability and efficiency, and institutions that take pride in adopting responsible investment practices, it is of great importance that the leaders of organisations have the will to govern their companies according to best practices.

There is a heightened awareness that having a system that allows corporates to create a well-governed company is a prerequisite to the overall development of the economic environment of a country.

The USAID Responsible Investment and Trade Activity, in collaboration with the Myanmar Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (MPE&VCA), delivered the "Corporate Governance Foundational Course for Myanmar SMEs" in September 2022.

Representatives of MPE&VCA member institutions and the portfolio companies of MPE&VCA's investor members attended the course.
