As the Medical Director for International SOS Malaysia, Dr Chan oversees the assistance and medical services provided in Malaysia. Dr Chan leads a team of doctors and nurses within Kuala Lumpur Assistance Centre and at remote medical sites to deliver quality medical advisory and clinical services in Malaysia. Dr Chan started her career at International SOS Malaysia in 2016, providing health advisory and solutions for business travellers and international assignees of organisations across industries, and also working closely with remote site medical professionals in looking after employees work at offshore and remote locations.
Dr Chan is a firm believer that education and health promotion are fundamental keys to healthy individuals and community, like the saying goes “prevention is better than cure”. Dr Chan adopts holistic approach to health and wellbeing when assisting individuals in need. At work, she also dedicates her time in reviewing emergency practices and response procedures, and engages in learning and development of the International SOS Malaysia Medical Team.
Dr Chan graduated from International Medical University in 2005 and since then, she has worked in tertiary healthcare facilities in Malaysia for more than 10 years. Her experiences in the healthcare industry include general medicine, pediatrics, women’s health, anesthesia, intensive care, emergency medicine and trauma medicine.
Aditya leads client engagements around Asia and Australasia, developing bespoke solutions in support of organisations managing their travel risk mitigation strategies, policies and procedures. Aditya was the Regional Security Information Manager, served as head of the security intelligence team in Asia Pacific responsible for planning and intelligence delivery. Aditya has overseen the team’s development of actionable intelligence to incident management teams and clients on the ground during crises and emergencies.
Aditya has a Juris Doctorate from The George Washington University Law School and holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from the University of California, Irvine.
