During this interesting presentation, Chris will be discussing ways that the rate of dementia can be affected by an individual's sex, ethnicity, or race. Chris will go over the factors that should be considered when diagnosing and treating a diverse population. She will provide effective communication techniques to use with people from diverse backgrounds.

For $5.00* – 1.0 Cultural Competency CE Credit will be awarded to Illinois nurses, social workers, professional counselors, and nursing home administrators. *NO FEE for Consumers/Community Members and those not needing CE credit or certificate.
