Atty. Tess Marie P. Tan (“Tess”), an of counsel, currently sits as the Director for Legal & Compliance of OfficePartners360, a multi-national business process outsourcing company with offices in the United States of America, the Philippines, Colombia and India. As the corporation’s in-house attorney, she manages all corporate contracts, and serves as a consultant for various legal matters ranging from conflict of laws, labor and employee relations, commercial law, civil and contract law, to immigration law, and information security.

She oversees several administrative functions of the firm, including Legal, Compliance & Regulatory, Corporate Communications, Facilities Management, Information Security, Human Resources, and Occupational Safety & Health. She is a certified Safety Officer, and Combined Lead Auditor for ISO/IEC 27001:2013 (Information Security Management System) and ISO 22301:2019 (Business Continuity Management System).__

Tess is a part-time law professor for the University of Southern Philippines Foundation and University of the Visayas – Gullas Law School, teaching Private International Law, Public International Law, Legal Research, Labor Law Review, and Legal Ethics.

Tess is a multi-awarded legal researcher, and world-champion oralist and debater, having won three world titles in international moot court competitions while in law school (2016 Stetson International Environmental Law Moot Court Competition, 2018 Price Media Law Moot Court Competition, and the 2018 Richard Baxter Award for Best Applicant Memorial of the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition). She was also part of the team that won Season 11 of the ANC Square Off Debates. Her dissertation on liabilities of internet intermediaries won her 2nd place in the inaugural Dissertation Competition of the Foundation for Liberty and Prosperity (FLP), which was co-sponsored by the Ayala Foundation; while her thesis on historical revisionism and cultural heritage was awarded 3rd Best in her graduating class. She has served as both memorials and oral rounds judge in the international rounds of the Jessup moot court in 2021 and 2022.

As an Ally and social activist, she serves as the Managing Editor of the Philippine Journal on Liberty and Prosperity, while consecutively serving in the FLP Scholars Society Education and Research Committee, and Public Interest Committee. Tess is also a member of the Zonta Club of Cebu II.

She earned her Juris Doctor degree, minor in Litigation and Advocacy from the University of San Carlos, as a scholar of the FLP and the Tan Yan Kee Foundation. She was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2020.

Hadji A. Balajadia is a fulltime Assistant Professor at the Department of Psychology of Ateneo de Davao University (AdDU). She also currently serves as Vice-President of AdDU’s College Faculty Union, and former Director for External Affairs of the Center of Psychological Extension and Research Services (COPERS). Her advocacy, engagement, and practice focus on multi-stakeholdership, leadership, and dialogues toward social inclusion and diversity, and intersectoral collaboration in Southern Philippines.

She held various positions in professional and civil society organizations. She has been the secretary of the Association of Psychologists and Helping Practitioners (APHP), Convener Davao Pride Council, former Chair of Mindanao Young Leaders Parliament, & convener of Bantay Bayanihan sa Kapayapaan-Davao Region, a civil society network which engages in oversight for the security sector, specifically the Armed Forced of the Philippines.

She is also involved in various policy advisory in the security sector: as Chair of the Strategic Communications Committee of the Eastern Mindanao Multisector Governance Council, former memer of the 10 Infantry Division of the Philippine Army Multi-sectoral Advisory Board, and served for two years as Martial Law Advisory Council Member, appropriating “the whole-of-nation approach” in addressing human security issues in conflict situations in Mindanao and was appointed as the first Transgender advisory Member of the Area Police Command of Eastern Mindanao.

Prof. Hadji holds an Executive Diploma Course on Operational Law from the joint program of the German Armed Forces Command and Staff College and National Defense College of the Philippines, a Master of Science in Psychology at Ateneo de Davao University, and is currently finishing her Doctorate Degree of Philosophy in Social-Organizational Psychology at the Silliman University.

Recently, she was elected as Secretary of the Philippine Sociological Association at De Lasalle University-Manila.

For her activism in promoting Filipino values, identity, and culture through teaching, research, and advocacy in Mindanao, Prof. Hadji was conferred life-time membership to the Pambansang Samahan sa Sikolohiyang Pilipino.

Chris has also taken active roles in leading business and industry associations in the Philippines: as former board member and advisor at the Global In-House Center Council of the Philippines, former member of the Talent Advisory Council of the IT and Business Process Association of the Philippines and, currently, as trustee at the Philippine Financial & Inter-Industry Pride.

Presently, Chris manages BHP Global Business Services' culture portfolio which includes internal communications, employee engagement, organizational change management and capability development. Chris also spent 15 years at Baker McKenzie Global Services, where he managed site operations (administration, BCP, CSR, D&I) while overseeing global service delivery lines (including document support center, business development and marketing, meetings and events, new business intake) in Manila, Tampa, Belfast and Buenos Aires.

He is also currently taking his Master of Distance Education degree at the UP Open University. With his learnings from the courses he takes, he always explores how it can be adapted to his line of work and advocacies.
