Dr. Elaigwu Christopher Ogbanje, a distinguished expert in Agricultural Finance and Project Analysis, holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, where he specialized in this field since 2015. He also obtained his M.Sc. in Agricultural Economics and his Bachelor of Agriculture in Agricultural Economics and Extension from the Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi.

As a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Agribusiness at the Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi, Dr. Ogbanje brings a wealth of academic and research experience to his role. His research interests primarily revolve around addressing the financial constraints faced by rural-based small-scale farmers in Nigeria, who constitute a significant portion of the nation's agricultural production. He is deeply committed to exploring solutions to enhance their access to finance, amidst challenges such as climate change and food security.

With over 15 years of teaching experience, Dr. Ogbanje has imparted knowledge across various agricultural economics-related subjects at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. His expertise spans diverse areas including Mathematical Economics, Agricultural Risk Management, Value Chain Development, and Capital Markets.

In addition to his academic contributions, Dr. Ogbanje has held numerous administrative positions within his institution, demonstrating his leadership and organizational skills. He has also been actively involved in professional associations, having served in elective positions within the Academic Staff Union of Universities and cooperative societies.

Dr. Ogbanje possesses advanced skills in data analysis using tools such as STATA, EViews, and SPSS, as well as proficiency in R software for statistical analyses. He is also well-versed in the use of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and various online data collection tools. His versatility extends to Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint packages, which he utilizes effectively in his academic and consulting endeavors.

In his capacity as a consultant, Dr. Ogbanje has collaborated with esteemed organizations such as the World Bank-Federal Ministry of Agricultural and Rural Development and Nextier-Central Bank of Nigeria on impactful projects such as the Fadama III Endline Impact Evaluation and the Anchor-Borrower Programme. His contributions to these initiatives underscore his commitment to driving positive change and sustainable development within the agricultural sector.

Okpani Oti is a lecturer and a researcher at the Department of Agricultural Economics, Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike. He holds a Ph.D in Agricultural Economics, specializing in Resource and Environmental Economics. Since 2016, Dr. Oti has been involved in teaching, research and community service. His research focuses on issues in agriculture, environment and resource economics, and development economics such as resource use and conflicts, farm productivity and efficiency, climate change, rural livelihood structures, sustainable development, gender and health issues in agriculture, agricultural policies, forestry resources and management, rural employment and agricultural value chains. He has published in reputable journals, presented at conferences, and participated in workshops and capacity-building trainings and seminars. He has taught several undergraduate courses in General Agriculture; Basic Principles of Economics; Macroeconomic Theory; Agricultural Cooperatives; Farm Management and Production Economics; Technical Report Writing and Presentation; and Economic Development, Planning and Policy. Dr. Oti has supervised and graduated over 20 undergraduate students, and also guided several other undergraduate students not directly assigned to him. He is currently the Undergraduate Seminar Coordinator in the Department. His is a member of Agricultural Policy Research Network (APRNet) and Society for Community and Communication Development Research (SCCDR). He has reviewed articles for Nigerian Agricultural Policy Research Journal (NAPReJ), Nigerian Agricultural Journal (NAJ) and 2020 virtual conference of Department of Agricultural Economics, University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Dr. Oti enjoys playing table tennis, and watching and listening to news. He is married to his friend, Chinyere, and they blessed with a son.

His vast knowledge in building agricultural economic systems, has lead in the establishment of over 4,000 agro businesses through our knowledge transfer agents with modern farming techniques in both crop and animal production in Kaduna, Niger states , Benue State,Ogun state.
Through their yearly farm sponsorship they have been able to directly partner and sponsors over 3000 grass root farmers in Nigeria there by contributing in the growth for the small holder farmers
