With over 20 years experience in the automotive industry, Rena has always had a passion for helping people. As a Service Advisor, she found every way possible to improve and utilize her skills. Implementing new techniques with basic fundamentals gave Rena the ability to become one of the most sought after trainers and coachs in our field.
Dedicating her time training Service Advisors with one-on-one calls, webinars, and classes is what she lives for. With high energy and understanding, rapid and continued improvement has been shown across the board from her clients.
Nathan Malubay
Nate started his automotive career as a technician at age of 16 years old, working at a U-Haul service center rebuilding transmissions. He worked his way up to an ASE master technician and after 18 years in the industry as a master diagnostician he left the industry to work as a software development engineer. He now spends his time coding, tending his avocado farm in Southern California and sharing his knowledge with people in the automotive industry. You might catch him training a class on the weekends or picking an avocado.
Tim Shaffer became a general auto repair shop owner in 2007 when he purchased Dale’s Service Center from his parents. Based in Davenport, Iowa, he worked in the family business throughout his high school and college years. Tim has served as a Technician and as a Service Advisor, he has integrated computer systems for the business and has trained with numerous coaches and training programs.
Tim loves the business part of the automotive industry and wants to help other shop owners succeed. Tim and his wife, Mandy, have been married for 20 years. Together, they have three daughters and the family also has a dog (her name is Keo) and four chickens.
