The Malaysian Competition Act was enacted in 2010 with an aim to promote and create a fairer business environment, whilst protecting consumers' interests. Malaysia has progressed tremendously since, but there remain limitations and barriers to the current framework and its implementation.
With the support of the British High Commission, IDEAS undertook a study on Malaysia's competition landscape, regulatory limitations and challenges, and the route towards competition neutrality.
In this webinar, IDEAS will share its findings and discussions will be based on these selected sectors: - banking, higher education, energy, telecommunication, ICT and fintech.
