Peter has served on the board of directors of MGCC since 2015, including roles as president and vice-president in 2017/19, and vice-president in 2022/23. With over 300 members from 20 countries, MSIA is the voice of the semiconductor industry in Malaysia. Andrew represents the industry in various national committees including in Pemudah, the National Strategic Semiconductor Task Force and TalentCorp's MyMahir Future Skills Talent Council for E&E and Chairman of the National Standards Committee/Technical Committee for Semiconductor. Dr. Dennis Cheong
Vice President of NEFAB Southeast Asia at NEFAB (MALAYSIA) SDN BHDDr. Dennis Cheong is the Vice President of NEFAB Southeast Asia and Managing Director of NEFAB Malaysia, bringing over 20 years of experience in industrial protective packaging, engineering plastics, and manufacturing with global MNC. Throughout his career, he has held key leadership roles at NEFAB, General Electric (GE), and SABIC. His responsibilities have included P&L management, as well as leadership positions such as Managing Director, Regional Marketing Director, and Plant Manager.
Dr. Cheong holds a Doctor of Business Administration from University Utara Malaysia, where he authored a thesis and published a journal on sustainability, titled “The Influence of Green Product and Process Innovation on New Green Product Success.” He also earned a Master of Engineering in Manufacturing from the University of South Australia and a Bachelor’s degree from RMIT University, Australia.

Ts. Ahmad Faiz
COO at Kontron Asia Pacific DesignAhmad Faiz is the COO at Kontron Asia Pacific Design Sdn. Bhd, where he oversees local operations and also manages Kontron Global Avionics Software Product Line. With over 20 years of industrial experience, 14 of which have been focused on embedded technology design, Ahmad has played a key role in expanding Kontron's engineering services beyond Embedded Designs to include avionics, communication, transportation, and defense systems. Dato' Hans Brenner

Dato' Hans has 36 years of experience in medical device manufacturing and commercialization, thereof the last 26 years in SE Asia. He's currently a Venture Partner at 2 Private Equity Life science Funds in SE ASIA and also strategic advisor for some European life science companies for the Asia-Pacific region.
Previously, he was the President for B. Braun Asia, overseeing the entire Asia-Pacific business, including manufacturing, sales, and marketing as well as CEO of KLS Martin Malaysia and SE ASIA.

Christian Kapischke
Senior Vice President, Operations and Head of Centre of Excellence IV Access at B BraunChristian joins B. Braun Medical Industries in Malaysia with 20 years of experience serving the Group in Germany. Starting at Avitum as a trainee, he was also identified early in his career to train in the United States of America under the Marketing specialization. He then moved up the ranks through various local and global functions, which included strategic Portfolio Management, OPEX, Production Management, Plant Controller, Investment and Projects.
Prior to this role, he was leading a subsidiary of B. Braun as Managing Director, where he was responsible for the overall management of the site. There, he developed a production and plant strategy through 2030. His current position is Christian's first posting abroad since he joined B. Braun Melsungen AG in 2003.
Christian graduated from the University of Applied Sciences, Ansbach, Germany in Industrial Engineering with focus on Medical Technologies. In his free time, he enjoys exploring the world with his family, which includes his three children, or sweating it out in the intense game of handball or the relaxing pace of tennis.
Jean-Christophe Guillou
Global VP Operations at Molnlycke Health Care"Jean-Christophe, “JC”, has 25-year experience in Industrial Operations mostly in Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices. He holds an MBA and a Msc of Industrial Operations from Kedge in Bordeaux France.
JC spent the first 15 years of his career with Sanofi, in London, Paris, Sydney and Singapore ending his tenure as Regional Supply Chain Director APAC. He then ventured in entrepreneurship and founded a wine import company in Singapore. Three years later he moved to Hangzhou for 2 years with Robert Bosch to head the APAC Industrial and Supply Chain Strategy. In 2012 he joined Menarini, back in the Pharmaceutical industry for eight years based in Singapore as Vice President APAC Operations and Director of the board of PT Menarini Indria in Jakarta.
In 2020, JC joined Mölnlycke to head the Global Operations of the Gloves Division. He is based in Penang where he is in charge of 2500 people in 3 manufacturing sites as well as the Global Procurement and Supply Chain. He is also the General Manager and Director at the board of Molnlycke Health Care Sdn Bhd.
JC also serves as a Board Member of the Association of Malaysian Medical Industries (AMMI)."
Joyce Ngo
Director of Customer Operations and Fulfilment at KLS Martin Malaysia Sdn BhdJoyce has earned her Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Degree in the field of Biochemistry from University Putra Malaysia and further attained her Master of Business Administration from Wawasan Open University in year 2010.
First started off as a product specialist in Roche Malaysia participating in marketing strategy planning and relationship management with professionals, Joyce carries with her an experience of 17 years being in the medical industry, from the field of project management and training to sales and business development, with the latest being the Director of Customers Operations and Fulfilment in KLS Martin Malaysia.
Throughout her career with KLS Martin since 2015, she is part of the KLS Martin Reprocessing Unit for Medical Devices (RUMED) academy trainer in Asia. She has also successfully setting up an Engineering team for Individual Patient Solution (IPS) in Penang as a group service hub for implant design.

Jan Noether
Executive Director of Malaysian-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AHK)The banking specialist Jan Noether worked for the Germany based MNC Deutsche Bank in the areas of corporate banking and corporate finance in Stuttgart, Berlin, Mumbai and Ho Chi Minh City for a total of 16 years before taking over a project of commercial restructuring of a sizeable American furniture production in Vietnam for a total of three years. In 2006, Jan Noether joined the global network of German Chambers Abroad and since then, he took responsibility for the activities in Vietnam, China/Shanghai, Turkey and most recently, in Egypt. Jan joined the Malaysian-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Kuala Lumpur in May 2024. Furthermore, Jan took on the role of the global spokesperson of the German Chambers Abroad (AHK) network in 06/2021. Dr Hari Narayanan
Chief Executive Officer at Penang Skills Development CentreDr. Hari Narayanan has amassed over 35 years of experience spanning industry and academia. He spent more than two decades at Motorola Solutions, rising from a technical staff member to leading the R&D organization and serving as Managing Director for Penang operations. Dr. Hari transitioned to academia in 2019, joining APU as Senior Director of Organizational Development before assuming the role of Vice Chancellor in 2020 and later President in 2022. After leaving Motorola Solutions in 2018, he took on several leadership roles, including Chairman of the Board of Governors at USM.
In January 2024, Dr. Hari became CEO of Penang Skills Development Centre (PSDC), focusing on talent development and positioning PSDC as a premier centre for TVET graduates. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from UMIST, UK and various professional accolades, including being a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of IMechE, IET and CMI. Dr. Karen Morgan
Professor at RCSI & UCD Malaysia Campus (RUMC) working in Education IndustryDr. Karen Morgan is Professor of Health Psychology and President and CEO of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and University College Dublin Malaysia Campus in Penang. She is a Fellow of the European Health Psychology Society, a former President of the society and Co-Editor of the journal Health Psychology and Behavioural Medicine.
In addition to her experience in Health Psychology, Karen has a background in Organisational Psychology and has worked on a number of major government projects in the UK and Ireland as a change management consultant.
Karen is passionate about building research capacity in Malaysia through providing access to training and mentoring. A founding member of WomenEd Malaysia, she believes that connecting forward thinking educators and industry leaders is key to ensuring that the pathways from school/university to professional life are as seamless as possible.
Karl Godderis
CEO of EurochamKarl is originally from Belgium but based in Kuala Lumpur. Since January 2025 he has been in charge as CEO of Eurocham Malaysia. Priorly, he established the Asian presence for Pragma Finance, a UK based provider of private credit solutions to large scale ESG projects across North America, Africa and Asia.
Karl has been active for over 30 years across Asian markets, especially in SE Asia and Australia. Covering management consulting and strategy roles, post-merger integration and transformation roles and in more recent times cross border M&A advisory.
His management consulting career involved working for global firms like PWC and Kearney as well as running his own boutique advisory business in Jakarta and Singapore.
Karl holds a double degree in Applied Economics and International Relations from the Catholic University of Louvain, Belgium.

Dr. Michael Sailer

Eva Maegerlein

Prior to this role, Eva has over 24 years of experience serving various multi-national companies and holding global controlling portfolios. Over the years she served a global logistics provider in its HQ in Germany before moving up the ranks as CFO China, Hong Kong & Macau. After three years, she returned to Germany to join the national railway company of Germany.
Eva graduated from the Martin-Luther University Halle-Wittenberg, Halle, Germany with a Diploma in Business Administration. She is proficient in four languages, German, French, English and Cantonese with basic proficiency in Mandarin and Spanish.
