Curtis A. Beharry, vice president sales. Curtis brings more than three decades of experience in various areas of the industry, resulting in breadth and depth of knowledge. Prior to joining Summit Re, Curtis managed a reinsurance brokerage customer service department, ran the fully insured and self-funded department for a major insurance company in Miami: John Alden Life Insurance Company, and held various other management positions. Curtis attended St. Anthony’s College in Trinidad and Tobago.

Valerie was born in Long Island, NY but grew up in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. She is a Cradle Catholic and attended College Marie - Anne of the Sister of St. Anne in Haiti, an all girls catholic elementary and high school. She graduated from JU with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics. Valerie then later obtained her Master of Science in Computer Information Systmes from UNF. She currently works at Brooks Rehabilitation as their IT Applications Manager. Valerie is engaged to Gregory Warrell and they are planning their wedding for April 2024!

Dr. Pohlgeers has been married 35 yrs, has 2 children and 2 grandchildren. He has lived in Jacksonville for 29 years and has held various leaderships positions in the Children’s Hospital. He started the residency and fellowship rotations in the Pediatric Emergency Department. He attends St. Joseph’s where he is a lector, board member of the Divine Mercy House, adult education, school volunteer, Respect Life, RCIA sponsor; and helped organize the inaugural Diocese Men’s Conference. He is also on the Community Advisory Board for Jacksonville School of Autism
