Amy Olson
Executive Director of Nativity Academy at St BonifaceAmy Olson is the Executive Director of Nativity Academy at St. Boniface.
While working as Director of Mission Effectiveness for Sacred Heart Schools, Amy's passion for Catholic education brought her to serve on the board of Nativity Academy at Saint Boniface. She served for four years before becoming the Executive Director. Amy believes Catholic education is transformational and wants to make sure it is available to children living in the urban core of Louisville. Amy's first experience in Catholic school was as an undergraduate student at Marycrest College.
Amy is number five of six children and was born and raised in Iowa. She and her husband, Kevin Wadle, made Louisville their home when they moved here after getting married 27 years ago. She is the mom of Gabrielle and Elise.
Amy serves on St. Matthews City Council.
Amy and her husband have served as foster parents and mentors with Operation Open Arms. OOA is a local agency that fosters children who have incarcerated mothers.
Amy and Kevin are members of St. Leonard. Amy is a Master Catechist and Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion. Amy and Kevin are Ursuline of Louisville Associates.
