Ellen Wichmann (Executive Director of Little Way Pregnancy Resource Center)

Ellen Wichmann

Executive Director of Little Way Pregnancy Resource Center

Ellen Wichmann is the Executive Director of Little Way Pregnancy Center.
Ellen is the 8th of 9 children raised in a strong Catholic family in New Haven, KY. She attended St. Catherine Grade School, St. Ann Middle School, and Bethlehem High School. Her faith remains a very important part of her life. She and her husband, Doug, have four children, Thomas, Jack, Audrey, and Luke.
Ellen received her bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Louisville and had a successful 26-year career at GE. She has been involved in Bible Studies for over 17 years and currently co-leads a thriving Catholic Bible Study at St. Michael with over 60 participants. Her desire to live out her faith and pro-life convictions led her to volunteer at Little Way Pregnancy Center over ten years ago. There, Ellen grew to love the mission of Little Way and its approach of loving and serving clients without judgment. Eight years ago, Ellen was asked to step into the Little Way Executive Director position.
During her tenure as Director, the Little Way team has focused its efforts on improving processes, increasing marketing effectiveness, and shifting to a more medical model in order to offer the services and education needed by those facing unexpected pregnancies. These efforts have helped women in great numbers make the choice for life that deep down most mothers want to make. Other ministries of Little Way include abortion pill reversal, a post-abortive healing program, and an educational program that strengthens families and provides tangible assistance. Through love, support, and an introduction to Christ, Ellen’s team works diligently to play its part in changing the life trajectories of those God brings their way.
Though God has blessed Ellen with many, many gifts, she counts her husband and children as her biggest blessings.
