Webinar to be held April 22nd from 3-4 PM Eastern Time Zone

By the end of March 2024, schools were still looking for all processed ISIRs for their students, the ability to make corrections, and clarity on multiple other awarding factors. The efforts to simplify the FAFSA process and reduce verification, compounded with whole overhauls of federal online systems and tools have made supporting students and families in the financial planning aspect of federal aid challenging.

Please join MAACS partners, FA Solutions & ECM as they present their second webinar on this issue. Topics expected to be covered are:

  • Pell Calculations: When to use Minimum, Maximum, and Calculated Values.
  • Using the SAI: Not a leading indicator as EFC Was – Must use Poverty level guidelines and number in household.
  • How Enrollment Intensity affects Minimum, Maximum, and Calculated Pell which increases the difficulty in Pell estimates prior to enrollment.
  • Shifting regulations call for a shift in mindset when it comes to Pell calculations and eligibility estimates.
