Neoma joined the DRP as Executive Director in August of 2022. Prior to that role, voters first elected Neoma to the Reno City Council in 2012 and she served in that role, as well as a Vice Mayor position for 10 years. While on City Council, Neoma represented an area of Northwest Reno that includes the Old Northwest, University of Nevada, Somersett and Verdi neighborhoods as well as parts of downtown Reno.
Neoma is putting her years of experience to work to help improve Downtown Reno.
Mike Larragueta is the President & CEO for the RSCVA. Larragueta brings nearly 30 years of experience in the travel and tourism industry, incorporating 15 years of local executive experience, which includes more than six years as the RSCVA Vice President of Sales; more than 12 years of executive hotel experience at Las Vegas resorts, including The Venetian, Palazzo, Hard Rock and The Palms; and nearly two years working as the Corporate Vice President of Global Distribution for Baha Mar Casino & Hotel in the Bahamas. Larragueta is a third-generation Nevadan from Winnemucca and earned his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Nevada, Reno.
Troy currently serves as the Assistant Vice President, for the office of Community and Real Estate Management, responsible for providing effective management and oversight of future campus, community and strategic real property planning, P-3 implementation and management, and directs all real estate initiatives, contracts and real property management statewide for University of Nevada properties. The AVP serves as the University representative for the Downtown Reno Partnership, Business Improvement District and will serve as a liaison to the Vice President of Governmental/Community Affairs for Reno, Sparks, and Washoe County activities. The AVP will work in close cooperation with the Vice President of Administration and Finance (VPAF) on matters of importance and provides guidance on the strategic direction for acquisitions, dispositions, partnerships and other related real estate operations of the University and the local community.
The University has grown 30%, with development of over $700,000,000 in New Projects (not including renovation) and Troy has negotiated contracts and leases/sales agreements transactions exceeding $375,000,000 since Troy's arrival in 2007.
Troy also currently serves as
