Dexter Diwas is a graduate of Speech and Theater Arts from Silliman University, Dumaguete City. He finished his Bachelor of Laws at Saint Louis University, Baguio City in 2011. He is also a graduate of Haggai Leader Experience from the Haggai Institute, Maui, Hawaii, USA.
After passing the 2011 Bar, he ventured into private practice for two (2) years specializing in employer employee relations. He then joined the government as a Public Attorney where he gained further experience in Criminal and Labor Laws. As a Public Attorney, he was assigned as the resident Drugs Court lawyer of RTC 61 in Baguio City.
After five years in government service, he resigned and established DIWAS LAW in Baguio City. He also founded POINT 3750 TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT SERVICES. Currently, he is active as a Resource Speaker in several Government Agencies and Private Organizations delivering motivational talks and conducting Legal Wellness Sessions and Workshops among others.
At present, he is completing his Diploma in Strategic Human Resources Management and Development in Ateneo CORD as he leads the HR Department of Bright Hope Room for Growth Inc., a Kindergarten School that he and his wife, Abigail Diwas, started ten years ago.
As a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach, he regularly delivers strengths based workshops both online and face to face. He also completed his certification as an IncredibleCoach, a Strengths-Based Approach to parenting held at Orange County, CA, USA.
On September 1, 2021, he was awarded as one of the five (5) OUTSTANDING CITIZENS of BAGUIO for 2021 under the category - Professional Service, mainly for his work as a Legal Wellness Advocate, Strengths Coach, and as a Prison Ministry Worker.
