The panelists, Irfan Ali, Ramneek Padda, and Barinder Sidhu, will be sharing their experiences and providing insights in to their work and career paths.
Irfan Ali - As General Counsel for Pacific Reach, Irfan oversees all aspects of the company's legal matters including acquisitions, financing, leasing, property management, construction, employment, and litigation. Prior to joining Pacific Reach, Irfan worked as in-house counsel for one of North America's largest real estate developers and with a prominent Vancouver law firm practicing real estate law.
Ramneek Padda - Ramneek Padda is Associate General Counsel at TELUS where he has a broad practice, including the management of significant litigation across Canada and internationally. He provides strategic guidance to TELUS' Executive Leadership Team and all TELUS business units, including telecommunications, health, security and agriculture technology. Prior to joining TELUS in 2011, Ramneek clerked at the Supreme Court of British Columbia and worked for several years with Owen Bird in Vancouver, B.C.
Barinder Sidhu - Barinder is the Director of Legal Affairs at First West Credit Union. He provides strategic advice on many areas, including contracts, financial-services operational matters, privacy, dealing with regulators in a highly regulated environment and on federal and provincial regulatory law. He also assists various business units with M&A transactions, licensing and general corporate matters. Prior to joining First West Credit Union, Barinder was an associate at Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP in the Corporate Finance and Mergers & Acquisitions practice groups.
