Alvin Christian has more than 20 years in the field of strategic management, corporate finance, corporate accounting, and general management. In the past, he held roles as Controller/Finance Director/CFO roles in the USA at John Hancock Financial (Manulife Group), Thermo Fisher Scientific, and Veolia North America. Today Alvin is the Managing Director of TMF Indonesia and a Deputy Secretary-General of the Indonesian CFO Association (CFO Club Indonesia)

Gabriel Hyde is the leader of Arup’s operations in Indonesia and is a Chartered Civil and Structural Engineer. Arup is an independent firm of designers, planners, engineers, consultants and technical specialists offering a broad range of professional services. It has more than 14,000 people in its offices in 33 countries.

Gabriel has worked for 39 years in mainly private sector contracting and consulting for the built environment, in Europe, southern Africa, the Caribbean and South East Asia. He has a strong interest in integrated, interdisciplinary design and has wide experience in leading built environment design teams on a range of developments - commercial, public, cultural and domestic developments, both new build and restored, with their associated infrastructure - plus consultancy for the public sector.

Gabriel started his career with civil contractors, then switched to design. After twenty years as a designer and multi-disciplinary design team leader, he moved to Bucharest to lead Arup’s operations in Romania, and then to Moscow. After four years leading the Russian operation, he moved again, this time to the Netherlands, working on a project to address the consequences of induced earthquakes caused by natural gas extraction in the Groningen region. Gabriel’s most recent move was to Jakarta, to head up Arup’s Indonesia operation.
