Raoul Wallenberg Institute (RWI) in partnership with Business for Sustainable Development, Inc. (Philippines), funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency, will be organizing a program with a 3-day inception workshop and a main event where it will be showcasing solutions and designs to bring together an efficient way to address Business and Human Rights issues including Gender Equality and taking advantage of the available technology that we have. This will involve the participants from the 3-day workshop sessions who will be working together in clusters and they will present during the main event.
The first day of the workshop, Nov. 16, 2023 from 1 PM to 4 PM,will be conducted via Zoom and aimed at determining the vision and objectives of the event. Setting the goals and aligning the knowledge and understanding of the participants with the topic of Business and Human Rights and using Information Technology as the solution to concepts and designs. Workshop activity includes listing the issues and challenges predominant in each sector the participants belong to. The main purpose of this program is to encourage the effective dissemination and implementation of a healthy workplace through adapting human rights principles and abiding by due diligence procedures. Part of the promotion is to include opportunities for the audience to further their knowledge and skill set by attending training courses, workshop sessions and forming venues for businesses to foster partnerships and connections with like-minded individuals.
