REQUIREMENTS

Non-experienced kayakers are welcomed. Participants will be required to wear Personal Floatation Devices (PFDs) for safety reasons.

 Minimum age - 10 years old. Children aged 10 to 11 years old must be accompanied by a fee paying adult.


TYPE OF BOAT FOR THE PROGRAMME

Open-deck kayaks (in pairs)


THINGS TO BRING/WEAR

  • Sports attire
  • Wear covered shoes/sandals (no bare feet)
  • Sun protection (hat/cap, sunblock, shades etc.)
  • Your own water bottle
  • Insect repellent (against mosquitos/sandflies while litter picking)
  • Gloves (suggested for litter picking)
  • Waterproof bag for your phone/personal belongings
  • Toiletries and a change of clothes
