Leo Rey Almero

Leo Rey Almero (He, him, his) is Senior Counsel at Emerson and sits in the Global Board of its LGBTQ + Allies Employee Resource Group as the Asia Pacific World Area Lead. Aside from his extensive legal training and education, he also devotes his free time to his personal
advocacies. In 2019, he was a legal resource person in the roundtable discussions to craft a transgender health framework in the Philippines, sponsored by the Philippine AIDS Society.

In the same year, he presented his paper entitled “Negotiating identity and seeking safe spaces: the Philippine legal vacuum and the emigration of transgender Filipina women” at the New York University – Shanghai’s 2019 Annual Conference at Shanghai, China.

Also in 2019, he facilitated the forum on making the workplace inclusive sponsored by Philippine Financial and Inter-Industry Pride. In June 2020, he co-moderated “I See You: Building Allyship & A
Gender-Inclusive Vision” held in partnership with Erasmus Mundus Association-Women, Oceans Network, and the Global Gender and Cultures of Equality and sponsored by SPARK Philippines, Austrian Embassy Manila and Campus Erasmus Mundus, Inc. In June 2021, he
co-paneled for ShhOUT LGBTQ Advocacy in the Workplace, sponsored by Human Resources and Marketing Magazine of Lighthouse Independent Media based in Hong Kong. In December
2021, he presented his paper “Negotiating Identity in the absence of a Gender Recognition Law in the Philippines” at the 2021 Transpinay Summit presented by Society of Trans Women of the Philippines and supported by Google. For his advocacies, the Philippine Financial and Inter-Industry Pride recognized him with the first LGBT+ Leader Bahaghari Award last October 28, 2022. He is also a published writer. His essays, poems and translations were
previously published in journals in the Philippines, Hong Kong, Singapore, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Australia.

Anne Xirlangela dela Pena

Anne Xirlangela dela Pena is a BS Psychology graduate and a registered Psychometrician. She works as a Process Innovation Professional supporting Talent Acquisition Optimization of IBM. She is also the co-leader of IBM's Employee Alliance for LGBT+ Empowerment ASEANK. She is a staunch diversity and inclusion advocate as well as an HIV awareness advocate.

Krista Melgarejo is a scientist turned writer and digital marketer who helps businesses with their copywriting and automations. They currently manage the marketing and podcast production at Userlist. They also had their creative work published in two LGBT anthologies.

Angelo Ronquillo

Angelo is currently the Head of People Operations from R1 RCM building the team from the ground up and is on his way in establishing the first D&I employee resource group for the Philippines site. Prior joining R1, Angelo is the APAC Leader of PayPal Employee Central where he helped build and expand the Philippines center, supported D&I initiatives, and elevated the overall HR Operations. He is known for developing high performing teams and implementing HR Transformation programs focused on employee experience with a strong understanding of moments that matter for people.
 
Angelo delivers presentations that challenge HR practitioners to be committed in building a diverse and inclusive environment where everyone feels accepted and valued.

Wowie Wong

Wowie Wong was once part of the IT industry always within the realm of Sales & Marketing from Retail Distribution to Enterprise Solution Sales. He had worked with Globe Telecom, 3Com, HP and Intel. As part of Sales and Marketing, he dealt with countless presentations meant for almost all kinds of audiences both local and foreign.

He garnered multiple achievements in his 10-year career in Intel Philippines. In 2014, he was recognized as Intel’s Top Achiever Awardee, which is granted among the Top 4% of Intel’s Sales and Marketing Group, worldwide.

He was also given the Rock Solid Award –4 South East Asia’s Highest Award among its Emerging Leaders Program. He is an official Intel Spokesperson, which comprise less than 1% of employees authorized to speak on behalf of the company, worldwide.

Three years ago, he made a career change and now live two lives: One of which is underwater. He is an underwater cinematographer and executive producer under a full production company called Studio H2O. He was a co-host of Wreck Hunters along with Ernie Lopez, which was launched last April 2020 through iWant TFC and Metro Channel. Wreck Hunters is a five-part series film about breathtaking wrecks of the Philippines.

When he is above water, he facilitates programs with People Ignite. He is known as the “ICE Man”, serving as lead facilitator and trainer for People Ignite’s presentation skills program Clear as ICE. He is also a Certified Lego® Serious Play Facilitator and a Certified Celemi instructor for Apples and OrangesTM, and Decision BaseTM.

Victor Nunez

Victor is a trained and certified coach, coach trainer and facilitator who applies various modalities and practices in his work to help individuals and teams at work to fully execute their purpose and function by helping them develop right relationship with themselves and others. He executes his work with leaders and teams by applying both systems thinking and systems practice.

Victor is also an experienced technology and management consultant who through coaching, engage and challenge leaders and teams in various industries to high performance, encouraging continuous improvement, self-empowerment and confidence in being active and intentional in the role within the organisations they belong with.

Victor is active in his global role as trainer of ICF-accredited team coaching program for team or systems coaches and leaders in systems-inspired coaching or leadership and in his regional role as coach and consultant for large scale agile transformations in multinational companies and trainer of ICAgile-accredited training courses.

Victor is also experienced in designing workshops and training programs for various organisations to meet their specific needs around leadership development, agile ways of working or general delivery of content to large number of people for the purposes of collaboration and action, in either online or in-person setting.

Victor is based in Thailand and his interests include subjects pertaining to foreign languages, psychology, philosophy and is skilled enough to be an astrologer.

Victor is working in partnership with various entities and other coaches and facilitators to further the reach of his coaching and practice in various industries since he has the experience gained from over fifteen (15) years of software development and consultancy. He is particularly privileged to have worked in various countries and culture most notably in Kabul, Afghanistan over twelve (12) years ago where he started his transition from an information technology professional to a coach.
