Chris is a director of the local office of the Marks & Clerk group, the largest specialist international firm of patent and trade mark attorneys in the world.
He specialises in the drafting and prosecution of patent applications, and is one of only a few practitioners in the country who are also qualified as UK/European patent attorneys. He has experience with a broad range of technical subject matter, ranging from mechanical and software-based inventions, to medical devices and chemical innovations.

Kwang Gek is the country tax leader for Deloitte Malaysia. She has more than 20 years of experience in providing tax and business consulting services for local and multi-national corporations. She has led various projects involving restructuring of operations, mergers and acquisitions, incentive evaluation and applications, regulatory applications to various government agencies, the establishment of businesses in Malaysia and cross border investments.
Kwang Gek graduated from University of Malaya with Bachelor of Accounting and is a member of the Chartered Taxation Institute of Malaysia, Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Malaysian Institute of Accountants.
Kwang Gek has been recognized as leading tax advisers in the 2017 – 2021 Women In Tax as well as in the 2018 and 2020 Guide to Leading Tax Advisers by International Tax Review.

Eugene is a Director with Deloitte Malaysia. He has over 20 years of experience in providing Business Process Solutions, which include temporary staff secondment, human resource management, payroll, bookkeeping, deferred tax computation and statutory accounts preparation services.
Eugene has served clients, both listed and privately owned in a range of business sectors including manufacturing, plantations, education, healthcare and food & beverage.
He has undertaken various cross border projects including privatisations involving UK and, Australia.
Eugene is member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants, Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a Fellow of The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
Ryan Chan

Ryan Chan is currently the Head of Business Development, Global Growth Acceleration Division at Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation Sdn Bhd (MDEC).
The Global Growth Acceleration (GGA) division at MDEC fuels high-potential Malaysian headquartered tech companies to skyrocket on the global stage through key interventions. Chan leads the business development initiatives and interventions, providing business expansion support to portfolio companies and developing business networks and "launchpads". In his portfolio, he has successfully led the team to design market expansion programmes and to build ecosystem networks in 12 countries to support the business expansion of Malaysian tech companies.
Prior to joining MDEC, he was the Chief Business Officer at ASX-listed iSentric Ltd where he built up the enterprise mobility business unit in the South-East Asia region. He also has entrepreneurial experience, having previously co-founded a company focusing on mobility solutions primarily serving customers in the e-banking and utilities sector. Before venturing on his entrepreneurial journey, he has held key business and technical roles in both local and regional software companies serving clients in the financial services sector.
He holds a master's degree in business administration from University of Malaya and a bachelor's degree in network computing from Monash University, Australia.
