Dr. Heather Brausa obtained her bachelor degree from the University of Virginia and received her doctorate in veterinary medicine from the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary medicine. She completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Oradell Animal Hospital in NJ. She then spent a year at a private practice in Brooklyn, NY. In 2008 Dr. Brausa joined the Community Practice Service at the Animal Medical Center.

Dr. Brausa is a Long Island native who currently resides in a small Brooklyn apartment with her wife, two kiddos, two dogs, two cats and a turtle.

Dr. Caitlin Roswell is one of the staff doctors with the Community Practice service. Dr. Roswell obtained her undergraduate degree in Animal Science from The Pennsylvania State University in 2007, and her degree in veterinary medicine from Cornell University in 2013. She completed a one year rotating internship at the Animal Medical Center in 2014, and thereafter signed on with the Community Practice team. Dr. Roswell especially enjoys challenging Dermatology cases and working with the NYPD’s canine teams.

When she’s not working, Dr. Roswell enjoys exploring New York’s many dog-friendly parks and attractions with her French Bulldog, Elvis, and trying new restaurants with her husband.

Dr. Jessica Wallach is a staff doctor with the Community Practice service. Dr. Wallach obtained a bachelor's degree in Biology from New York University in 2009. She received her degree in veterinary medicine from the University of Pennsylvania in 2013. She went on to complete a one year rotating internship at the Animal Medical Center in 2014, after which she joined the Community Practice team.

On her days off, Dr. Wallach enjoys spending time outdoors both in and out of the city with her husband, Ryan, and her fashionably dressed pittie mix, Littlebit.

Dr. Robert Dyke is a Staff Doctor at AMC’s Community Practice Service. A native of Iowa, Dr. Dyke received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Iowa State University. Following 8 years of private practice he returned to Iowa State University to complete a residency in canine and feline general practice and in 2014 he achieved board certification from the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners.

Prior to joining AMC, Dr. Dyke was a Clinical Assistant Professor in Community Practice at the Washington State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital. His duties included seeing cases with 4th year veterinary students during their clinical rotations. Dr. Dyke has twice received the Washington State University Richard Westcott Award for Excellence in Clinical Teaching.

Dr. Dyke enjoys the diversity of cases seen in Community Practice, and has an interest in surgery, low stress handling, and working with new pet owners.

Dr. Dyke and his wife share their home with several dogs and a cat.
