As COVID-19 postponed plans to host a Washington D.C. Fly-In in 2020 and 2021, we are happy to announce that the first-ever NAWE On The Hill (NOTH) will now be making its way to Washington, DC.
This meeting will be an in-person traditional educational, and relationship-building meeting with fire-side style discussions and networking opportunities. It is our goal to create an event that will allow our members to gain clarity and information from government officials and as well as provide advocacy opportunities.
The action will begin Wednesday, May 18, 2022, with a Welcome Reception at the host hotel, The Mayflower Hotel in Washington, DC with presentations beginning the morning of Thursday, May 19, with a keynote address by FMC Chairman Daniel Maffei, and briefings by House and Senate senior leaders followed by a Congressional Reception that evening at The Florida House. Activities will continue Friday morning and will include engaging with the Department of Labor. During this event, NAWE will award and give special thanks to our Congressional Champion who has helped make a difference in the maritime industry.
