Doreen’s career journey with PETRONAS embarked back in 2005 as a facilities engineer attached to Petroleum Resource Development under Petroleum Management Unit (PMU). To date Doreen has clocked more than 15 valuables years of diverse technical experience in aspects of facilities engineering, front end loading, cost estimation, project management, planning and control across all project life cycle spectrum.

During her earlier tenure in PMU, she had led and managed the Peninsular Malaysia Area Development Plans and Field Development Plans for both oil and gas development and inclusive of high CO2 gas fields monetization. Further to that, she had also extended her experience in FEED and EPC phase as the facilities/project lead of a high value integrated oil & gas development project.

Subsequently, she assumed the technical manager role in cost engineering attached to PETRONAS Carigali and thereafter PD&T, covering a wide breadth of business dimension in Malaysia and International for both Upstream & Downstream assets, encompassing scope of the project cost estimate, tender estimation, cost analysis, database enhancement, benchmarking, and international asset acquisitions.

In January 2020, Doreen was appointed as Manager, Planning & Control of Asset Decommissioning section in Malaysia Petroleum Management.

Jaibo has been working in the Oil & Gas sector for over 15 years and has long term experience working in Decommissioning, starting with the Frigg project in 2008 with Veolia. He joined Augean North Sea Services in July 2012, with the remit to develop all aspects of our Industrial Services and Hazardous Waste Management business. Since then, Jaibo has been a contract holder for several FPSO and NORM Management projects in the UK and overseas. He has played an instrumental role in contract wins with operators including Shell, Equinor, TAQA, CNRI, Perenco, Neptune, Peterson, Spirit Energy and ConocoPhillips. More recently, Jaibo has overseen our development into Decom, particularly in the area of NORM Decontamination, leading to the Shell Curlew Decommissioning project. This was one of the largest Decom projects in the UK. Jaibo now leads our Decommissioning division, which particularly focuses on our bespoke Dundee Decommissioning Facility.

Rory has spent most of his career in the specialist & industrial cleaning services sector. This has allowed him to acquire & build upon a wealth of knowledge that has seen him support clients with challenging issues on their assets. For over 10 years, Rory has been involved with operations onshore & offshore, which brings valuable input to his current Business Development role. Due to his varied experiences working on Oil & Gas projects, Rory is a trusted expert in specialist cleaning and associated services across the industry.

When it comes to offshore assets, specifically Production Platforms & FPSO’s, Rory has project managed several jobs across the globe, from West Africa, Brazil, and the Middle East to locally here in the UK. These projects included: FPSO deep tank waste extraction & cleaning (Cargo Oil & Slops Tanks) as well as asset topside process system cleaning (separators, vessels, pipework). The management and monitoring of NORM, hydrocarbons, H2S, benzene & other hazardous agents is something which Rory can advise on, from efficiency & environmental and, most importantly, safety perspectives.

Based at the British High Commission in Kuala Lumpur, Sri leads on energy trade development in Southeast Asia for Scottish Development International, the Scottish Government’s international economic agency, focusing on offshore and renewable energy opportunities in Malaysia, distributed generation in Indonesia, hydrogen and decommissioning in Brunei, and offshore wind in Vietnam.

Prior to joining SDI, Sri worked on trade promotion and policy projects for the British Malaysian Chamber of Commerce, working closely with the UK Department for International Trade, and sat on the Chamber’s energy committee. He began his career with BP.
