Ana Pista

Vice President - External at Public Relations Society of the Philippines

Ana is a seasoned PR professional with more than 20 years of experience in PR campaign ideation and implementation. Back in the year 2000, Ms. Pista founded Ardent Communications, the country’s premier tech PR agency. ArdentComm came about during a time where other agencies focused solely on lifestyle and FMCG brands. Seeing the rise of digitalization, Ms. Pista differentiated her company through specializing in technology communications. Servicing huge tech brands such as Microsoft, Norton and Symantec, Ms. Pista was able to establish the niche market of her company. Expanding its services nearly two decades after, ArdentComm has evolved into a full IMC agency catering to a wide variety of multi-industry brands.

Today, Ana serves as the president of the company. She is also the Vice President-External of the Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP). She was appointed as the chairwoman of the recently concluded 26th National Public Relations Congress. Under her chairmanship, Ana set the benchmark by achieving many firsts to the organization’s annual PR congress such as mounting 12 breakout sessions in addition to the usual plenaries, tapping over 10 international thought leaders and over 20 local experts, and using cutting-edge technology for promotions, registration, and ticketing system. For the first time in 26 years, the annual PR congress reached over 400 delegates by opening its doors to the general PR and communication practitioners such as the industry organizations, large corporation, SMEs, Start-ups, members of the academe, government agencies, NGOs, and LGUs.
