Kim Barnes
Barnes Team MediaKim Barnes spent more than 30+ years on the air! She was an award-winning reporter and news anchor for 15 years. Since leaving news, Kim is seen in corporate videos, commercials and also does voiceover work. Kim also taught television news reporting at The University of Texas (her alma mater). That’s also where she met her husband, former sportscaster Mike Barnes, but that’s a really long story! The dynamic duo works together as Barnes Team Media doing communication training. They also have parents in their 80s which led them to “accidentally” start an online platform called Parenting Aging Parents in 2021 to support those who are helping their parents as they age. They are passionate about providing content, connection and community to make this stage of life less overwhelming. They're also empty nesters with two children – a son who graduated from Texas A&M and a daughter who graduated from The University of Texas! And she is an avid user of AI so will share her wisdom with us on practical uses for the medium.
