Mary Patricia Voell
Founder/ Owner of Legacies, LLCMary Patricia Voell is the founder and owner of Legacies, LLC | Personal, Family & Organizational Historians, the mission of which is to help families and organizations capture and preserve their stories.
We live in a remarkable age when information is available in overwhelming abundance. At the same time, we’re less in touch with the histories and legends of our own families. Since 2001 Voell has collaborated with individuals and families to capture their stories – “before it was too late” by providing a range of direct services, in addition to programming that focuses on the telling, capturing, and preserving of family narratives, designed for specific audiences, formats, timelines and ability.
With a master’s degree in Adult Education and undergraduate degree in Interpersonal Communication Voell has taught business, marketing, communication and leadership courses at the Milwaukee School of Engineering University Radar School of Business, Marquette University College of Journalism and Communication and Marian University. Voell is an author, teacher, trainer, and speaker with life chapters in education, nonprofit development, marketing/public relations, theater, and music.
