Read Bio Kura Chihota Kura Chihota is a Regional Property Consultant with global realtor EXP Realty. He has 30 years’ experience across most aspects of property investment and development. His previous roles include National Leasing Manager of Gensec Properties Pty Ltd, Managing Director of Kagiso Johnson Controls Facilities Management Pty Ltd and executive director of Leapfrog Property Group. His non-executive leadership roles include directorships of the Johannesburg Housing Company, Fortress Income Fund, Putprop Limited Conservation Corporation Zimbabwe and Africa PropTech Forum. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Wits University, a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing from DeMontfort. As part of ongoing professional development attended the Harvard Business School Real Estate Management Program and the Property Development Programme at the University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business. He is the past Chairman of South African Property Owners Association (Gauteng), The Property Association and the Johannesburg Trust for the Homeless. He is a current member of the African Union for Housing Finance. He has been a guest lecturer at Wits University, University of Pretoria and lectured on the Estate Agents Affairs Board CPD courses. Kura is a popular keynote speaker and Master of Ceremonies across the continent and has presented in New York and Phoenix. His current assignments include preparing bankable feasibility studies in student accommodation and consulting two funds for possible REIT listing on the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange.

Read Bio Neltah Tshepiso Mosimanegape Neltah Tshepiso Mosimanegape is the Founder and Managing Director of Tempest Gold (with over 10 years experience); a real estate company with business interests in Africa. She has a BA in Economics and Accounting, and an MSc in Project Management from the University of Bolton and is currently a Doctoral Candidate in Real Estate at the University of Witwatersrand. Neltah also has qualifications in real estate, business administration and Vocational and Education Training (CVET). Her business and leadership acumen have gained her recognition continentally and internationally. Tempest Gold has been selected as one of Demo Africa’s 2018 Top 30 start-ups in Africa. In 2019, she was awarded the ‘Women in Africa’ Botswana Laureate and was also named the ‘Young Property Person of the Year in Africa’ by API Events. In addition, Neltah was recognized by ‘Wealth & Finance International’ in 2020 as the ‘Best Woman-Owned Property Technology Start-Up-Africa’. She has previously sat on the Board of the Real Estate Institute of Botswana and the Lady Olebile Masire National Youth Council, where she served as the Secretary-General in both positions. She is also a proud Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) Alumni. In 2022, Neltah came third in a Nigerian competition by Northcourt, the EMSA Real Estate Essay Competition by Northcourt, making her the only foreign (and female) winner. In the same year, Neltah was offered a ‘visiting scholar’ opportunity to lecture at Nigeria’s Covenant University for a period of 3 months. She also was appointed a ‘teaching assistant’ at the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa. Also in 2022, Neltah was accepted to the Association for Research of Civil Society in Africa’s (AROCSA) annual workshop; where she continued to share her gender-relations studies in the real estate industry. She was also awarded a grant by the International Real Estate Society (IRES) to present her research paper titled, ‘Creating an Inclusive Built-Environment: Achieving Gender Equality in the Real Estate Industry’, at the African Real Estate Society (AfRES) in November 2022 hosted in Ghana. Neltah is also passionate about media broadcasting and has co-hosted a real estate show sponsored by FNB Botswana, called ‘Your Property Pros’ radio show on Gabz FM (in 2022) as well as a ‘Facebook live’ show, where she presented a segment by and for Stanbic Bank (in 2021) titled, ‘Property Unplugged’. She has sat on various issues locally and continentally to share her views on her profession, gender advocacy as well as youth development in business. Neltah is in her last year of her Doctoral studies. Her thesis topic is: An Investigation into the ‘Cause and Effect’ of the Persistence of Gender Norms Leading to Gender Inequality in the Real Estate Industry: Examining its Impact on Female Participation in Botswana, South Africa and Zambia. She anticipates graduating in less than six months. Neltah plans to growing her 'gender equality’ advocacy in business, as well as playing a role in the promotion and advocacy of women in the industry by exploring synergies with stakeholders such as government, the relevant Ministry and others in line with SDG5 influencing 'gender policymaking' upon completion of her studies. She currently sits in the interim Real Estate Institute of Botswana (REIB) Council as the Vice-President of the real estate advocacy body in Botswana.

Read Bio Kundayi Munzara Kundayi is a co-founder and executive director of Sesfikile Capital, a listed property asset manager with c.R15 billion in assets under management. He holds a BSc. (Hons) in Property Studies from the University of Cape Town (UCT). He completed UK Financial Services Authority (“FSA”) exams for approved person status and holds a CFA designation. He recently completed his Private Equity and Venture Capital course and Program for Leadership Development (PLD) at Harvard Business School. He began his career at Old Mutual Properties as a property valuer, and in 2005 continued at Investec Private Bank’s property risk team valuing properties for lending purposes. He then moved to Investec Property Investments as a buy-side analyst and was subsequently appointed head of research for the investment team with analysts in South Africa, UK and Australia. Kundayi also played a key role in the development of Investec’s global listed property offering which included investments in UK, European and Australian REITs.
