Refresher Course 2024: Environmental Science, Management and Policy

This 6-session training course is for those interested in refreshing their memory on topics in Environmental Science, Management and Policy.

The design of the course includes selected topics from the ESMP Chapter of the Hong Kong Institute of Environmental Professionals Limited (HKIQEP).

SESSIONS:

1. Corporate Sustainability Trends, Standards, and Regulatory Requirements (Tuesday 2 July)
2. Environmental Pollution, Industrial Ecology, and Product Stewardship (Tuesday 9 July)
3. Environmental Public Policy and International Conventions (Tuesday 16 July)
4. Corporate Sustainability Reporting - From Data to Report (Tuesday 23 July)
5. Environmental Impact, Site Assessment, and Risk Assessment (Tuesday 30 July)
6. Ecology and Biodiversity (Wednesday 7 August)

VENUE: Room 202E, 2/F, Business Environment Council, 77 Tat Chee Avenue, Kowloon Tong, Kowloon.

TIME: All sessions are held at 7:30 - 9:30pm. Note that Sessions 1-5 are on Tuesdays and Session 6 is on Wednesday.

LANGUAGE: The course will be conducted in English. Presentation notes in B/W will be shared via email.

CPD: 2 CPD hours will be awarded for each attended session

• One CPD Certificate will be issued by email after the last session is completed
• No certificate will be re-issued

FEES:

• $400 per session
• $2,200 for full course
