Taylor Jackson joined MASC in 2023 after serving as a Board of Director. She brings a wealth of knowledge regarding logistics and supply chain as well as a vast network of industry connections. She started her career in logistics over ten years ago and participates in a number of waterfront organizations.

As Executive Director of the Charleston Branch Pilots since 2009, Captain Cameron directs harbor
pilot operations serving all trade through the Port of Charleston, and manages government and
industry affairs.
Captain Cameron's 23-year Coast Guard career focused on port safety and security. Assignments
included Chief of Marine Safety for the Port of New York, and on 9/11, he was assigned to the
New York City Mayor’s staff to coordinate port security and marine operations. During the IranIraq War, he served as the lead inspector for the Kuwaiti National Oil Tanker Fleet. His final tour
prior to retiring was as Sector Commander and Captain of the Port, Charleston, where he led all
Coast Guard operations in South Carolina and Georgia.
Captain Cameron is appointed by the Governor to the South Carolina Emergency Response
Commission, by Senator Lindsay Graham to his Homeland Security Coalition, and by Senator
Tim Scott to his Veterans Advisory Committee. He serves on the Boards of Trustees of the
Coast Guard Foundation, and of the Maritime Association of South Carolina, and has served on
the Executive Board of the American Salvage Association. Locally, he is a past President of the
Propeller Club of Charleston.
Captain Cameron is a graduate of the United States Coast Guard Academy and the Graduate
School of the University of Michigan.
Vijay is a professional Civil Engineer and Port Planner with 25 years of experience in Global Ports, Freight and Intermodal transportation infrastructure development projects with emphasis on efficiency improvement, emissions reduction, and optimization of capital and operating cost of moving freight and people.
Vijay has led and worked on more than 60 Port and Intermodal Projects worldwide with scope of work ranging from strategic master planning, detail terminal planning to detail design and construction supervision. Vijay worked as the Deputy Project Manager on South Carolina’s Hugh Leatherman Terminal design project.
Vijay has authored several papers in the industry conferences and publications and currently serving as the Chair on ASCE COPRI Asset Management subcommittee on Conditions Assessment; as well as in the advisory Board Member capacity for the Center for Advances in Port Management in Lamar University and for the Broward College – Supply Chain Management Program, bringing Port industry knowledge to academia.
DeeDee is a seasoned professional in the field of surveying, with over 20 years’ experience in leading survey teams and managing complex projects. As the Director of Survey
- Carolinas at Bowman, DeeDee oversees all aspects of survey operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. She provides strategic direction and leadership to the survey department, guiding our teams of surveyors and technicians towards achieving organizational goals.
DeeDee was “Surveyor of the Year” 2019-2020, is a past president of the South Carolina Society of Professional Land Surveyors (SCSPLS) and is currently serving as the Education Committee Chair for SCSPLS. She has been licensed for over 16 years in South Carolina.
She is additionally licensed in Tennessee and Kentucky and is a volunteer teacher for the survey lab classes at the Citadel. She is proficient in best fit roadway alignments, railroad surveying, boundary and ROW field surveys, the reestablishment of boundary and ROW lines as well as preparing property strip maps per SCDOT Preconstruction Survey Manual.
Andy is among the nation’s most experienced coastal resiliency engineers and planners. He is a professional marine & civil engineer that began his coastal career with response to the landfall of Hurricane Andy in South Florida in 1992. Since that time, he has built a career focused upon protecting infrastructure and communities from the ever-increasing intensity of coastal storms and rainfall events.
For the past decade, Andy has focused upon resiliency of critical infrastructure assets that include ports & harbors, transportation infrastructure, utilities, warehousing, emergency response facilities, hospitals and financial institutions. As a principal engineer for the Lower Manhattan Coastal Resiliency Project, he has first hand experience with the
planning, engineering, social and environmental challenges associated with generational resiliency improvements. He also practices resiliency engineering at the “retail” level and has assisted commercial, industrial, and residential owner/developers with designing buildings and other improvements to be resilient against the anticipated impacts of future climate change.
