A lawyer and structural/civil engineer by profession, Azmeena has over 30 years of international and local experience in public and private sector real estate development and facilities management.

She is currently General Manager for Real Estate Development at PDM Kenya Limited, a property developer and manager and an affiliate of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN).
Azmeena is an EDGE (Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies) Expert and a Certified Energy Manager.

Azmeena is also Chair of the Kenya Green Building Society (KGBS) and serves on the Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA) Lands, Urban Development and Housing Board and as a member of the Kenya Property Developers Association (KPDA) Affordable Housing Task Force.

Mark Dunford earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Management from the EHL Ecole Hoteliere Lausanne, Switzerland in 2004.

Mark’s first entry into the world of work in January 2005 with the STR Global (originally knowns as The Bench) as the UK sales manager, based in London.

In January 2007 he joined JLL in London as Associate, working there for two years before relocating to the Mediterranean city of Barcelona as the development director of Franklyn Hotels & Resorts in 2009.

His next move was northward bound to Switzerland, as a consultant with the Lausanne Hospitality Consulting, where he worked as a senior consultant until December 2014.
Mark then ventured into self-employment at MD Principal Independent Advisory, still based in Lausanne Area.
In June 2017, Mark moved back to JLL as the Vice President of the Hotels and Hospitality group in sub-Saharan Africa tasked with heading the East Africa unit of JLL in Nairobi, a post he held for three and a half years before moving to Dubai in July 2019 as JLL’s Director of Capital Markets Middle East and North Africa.

In January 2021 he joined Cavendish Maxwell, as Partner and Head of Investment & Commercial Agency in Dubai.

He is now heading Knight Frank Kenya from its Nairobi office as CEO. An avid sportsman, Mark has played rugby at a national level, is an expert swimmer and a biking enthusiast. He also takes part in triathlon competitions and plays rugby regularly.

David Gatimu is an Oxford Brookes University trained urban planner, with experience spanning over 30 years.

He started his career with the Nairobi City Council (now the Nairobi City County Government) where he served in several roles over the years among them as Assistant Director of Planning. He served his last public service role as the Chief Officer responsible for lands, housing and physical planning in Kiambu County Government, in 2017.

During his entire public service career, he has been deeply involved in urban policy formulation and urban development management in the most dynamic urban environments in Kenya. Mr. Gatimu has a deep passion and commitment to entrench the influence of planning with the defining characteristics of climate resilience. He believes that as devolution governance takes root in Kenya, the negative consequences of urbanisation must awaken the Green Climate solutions.

His vast experience has continued to keep him constantly engaged within the private sector, professional bodies’ networks in the built environment, development partners and community based organisations in developing ideas, innovations and capacity building in urban governance. He is currently a member of Kenya Property Developer’s Affordable Housing Task Force and also provides regular urban governance advisories to the Kenya Private Sector Alliance Land Sector Board.

Since 2019, he has been carrying out assignments with UN-Habitat is supporting several counties on urban development and governance systems. The cumulative work from these assignments enabled Mr. Gatimu to co-author the “Guidebook on Managing Infrastructure Development through Physical & Land Use Planning Processes in Kenya” (https://unhabitat.org/managing-and-financing-urban-development-through-physical-land-use-planning-processes-in-kenya-a). The guidebook was published in July 2022

Ms. Olive Gitau is the Head of Internal Audit at the Kenya Mortgage Refinance Company (KMRC), responsible for providing an independent, objective assurance and consulting activity designed to add value and improve the Company’s operations. She assists the Board and Senior Management in protecting the assets, reputation and sustainability of the Company by evaluating and improving the effectiveness of risk management, internal controls and governance processes.
Olive has over 16 years’ professional experience in implementing effective internal controls, developing practical risk management techniques, collaborating with stakeholders to establish appropriate governance processes and advising on public finance management.
Prior to joining KMRC, she worked with the Central Bank of Kenya as a Senior Internal Auditor for over 14 years. She is a regional trainer of Risk Management and Internal Controls courses. She also gained experience in tax administration at the Kenya Revenue Authority from 2005 to 2007. Her experience and contribution as a Trustee at the Banki Kuu Pension Scheme from 2016 to 2021 informed strategic financial and investment decisions growing the fund value by more than 300% to Kes 5.6 bn in a span of 5 years while also serving as the Chair of the Board Audit and Compliance Committee.
She is a member of ICPAK, ISACA, Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and Association of Women Accountants of Kenya (AWAK). She is passionate about service and has been serving in the AWAK training and development committee from 2021 and ICPAK Member Services Committee since 2017 where she represents ICPAK in various engagements relating to the young accounting professionals and members including facilitating trainings.
She is a PhD student in project management and has published articles on sustainable project management with a bias towards project risk and stakeholder management.

He is a highly experienced and qualified Real Estate professional services expert and holds an MSc (Econs) in Urban Development Planning from the University of London and a BA (Land Economics) from the University of Nairobi.

He is a full member of The Institution of Surveyors of Kenya (Valuation & Estate Agents Chapter) and is a Registered Estate Agent.

As Head of JLL in East Africa, Wayne leads a team of regionally focused business lines from Nairobi, Kenya. working in close collaboration with JLL’s global network of real estate experts to help our clients achieve their ambitions in East Africa and the broader Africa region.

Wayne also leads JLL’s Hotels & Hospitality Group within Africa, helping clients with a range of services that includes management consulting and investment advisory for acquisitions and development, valuation and investment sales of hotels.

Wayne has a BA in Tourism Development from the University of Johannesburg, a PDM from WITS Business School and an MSc in Property Studies at the University of Cape Town. Wayne has over 15 years’ experience in property services within Africa and the Indian Ocean.

In addition to hospitality, Wayne focuses on all asset classes with a particular focus on alternative real estate.

As the Head of Overseas Business at Kumkang Kind Co., Ltd. in South Korea, Mr. Sang Won Jeon established the Africa office in Nairobi in 2017, Kumkang Kind East Africa Ltd. As a graduate of McGill University in Montreal, Canada and 18 years of experience, Sang Won has introduced several progressive technologies such as the Aluminium Formwork System for mass housing construction, the Smart Warm Water System and the 3D Virtual Reality Show House.

Timothy has wide regulatory experience, having worked at the legal department of Capital Markets Authority as well as at the Capital Markets Tribunal. He currently works at the Approvals department of CMA, where he oversees the Real Estate Investment Trusts authorization process. He was in the team that oversaw the review and authorization of the first REIT in Kenya. Timothy is also in the team that has been tasked to develop a REIT Toolkit and Incubator program, an initiative by the REIT Association of Kenya, Kenya Property Developers Association and the Nairobi Securities Exchange.

Samuel Kariuki is a senior Business, Finance, and Investment Executive, with over 16 years of experience in Corporate Leadership, Finance & Investment and Audit. Before joining Mi Vida, he was the Managing Director at Centum Real Estate.

As CEO, he will provide an oversight role for the Mi Vida Homes growth trajectory strategy and spearhead the first project’s final phase and the other projects that are in the pipeline.

He holds an MSc in Finance (Economic Policy) from the University of London, an MBA in Strategic Planning from Heriot-Watt University, an undergraduate degree in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University, and an engineering degree from Moi University.

He sits on the board of Longhorn Publishers Ltd. He is a member of the Information Systems Audit & Control Association, Inc. and the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya.

He also holds a certificate in construction management.

Caroline is a partner at Ashitiva Advocates LLP and focuses mainly on property law, property development work, real estate financing, property joint ventures and structuring of mixed use developments. She has handled a variety of property transactions including, structuring of property joint ventures, property acquisitions, residential and mixed use projects, large scale commercial retail leasing, property management contracts and securities.

Anne Kinyanjui is the Partner in charge of Real Estate & Finance practice areas at DLA Piper Africa, IKM Advocates which covers a broad spectrum of financing matters, including banking law and project/acquisition finance.

With over nineteen (19) years’ post admission experience, Anne has a wealth of experience in these areas.

She represents both local and international clients in high value and complex transactions and has handled various real estate and development projects and loan financing transactions, including finalising a syndicated finance transaction involving six banks for one of the largest infrastructural projects in the country.

The Chambers Global legal guide has variously reported that “she delivers and “is focused on the customer”. The guide has recognized Anne over the past few years as one of the outstanding real estate and bank securities lawyers in Kenya.

Nompumelelo (Pumi) Lukhele is armed with over 15 years of experience in commercial real estate development and in the last 4 years Pumi’s experience expanded across the African continent delivering on retail, offices, hospitality, industrial and data centre projects. Pumi joined Gateway Real Estate Africa (GREA) in 2018 when it was 2 years in business and was involved in introducing processes and procedures to be implemented specifically in the development department and then later integrated these into other departments. Pumi’s successful engagement with land and property owners, local authorities, financial institutions, local and international consultants/tenants as well as the media houses across East Africa and South Africa enhanced industry awareness of GREA’s appetite for commercial real estate investment and development. This resulted in the acquisition, refurbishment, and launching of its 1st retail property in East Africa in 2019 and further increased project pipeline within the East African Region.
In 2022, Pumi relocated to Kenya following her promotion to “Head of Construction and Developments – East Africa” with GREA with the mandate to implement and deliver current and future real estate developments.
Pumi graduated with a BSc. (Honors) in Construction Management in 2006 from University of Pretoria (South Africa), completed her Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in 2014 through Henley Business School and is currently completing her final year of a Masters Degree in Real Estate Investment and Finance through the University of Reading. In 2022, she was further recognized as Top100 Corporate Leader in the industry by South African Institute of Black Property Practitioners (SAIBPP).
Over the years, Pumi’s passion for education and mentorship has led to her involvement with the Women’s Property Network (WPN), an organization that provides a platform for women in the commercial property industry to develop and enhance their careers. As a mentor, she aims to inspire young professionals to navigate their career path to reach their potential within the industry and contribute to the improvement of diversity and gender inclusion in the various industry opportunities.

Ken graduated from the University of Aberdeen, (Scotland) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Land Economics in 1990.

He joined a leading International firm of Chartered Surveyors and worked in the property management department of the firm’s Aberdeen Office where he was responsible for the firm’s client portfolio in the North East of Scotland.

Prior to joining Acorn Group, he was the Regional Chief Executive Officer of Property Development and Management Ltd (PDM), an Aga Khan Development Network Company where he was responsible for managing and developing the organization’s commercial property portfolio in East Africa.

Mr. Masika has over 23 years of experience in the Property Industry. His specialties include Urban Property Valuations both in Kenya and in the East African region. He is also well versed in Property Management, Estate Agency Services and Feasibility Studies. His expertise spans valuation of various categories of assets including land buildings, furniture, fittings and equipment.

He holds a B.Sc. in Land Management from The University of Reading, UK. He is a Full Member of Institution of Certified Investment and Financial Analysis (ICIFA), a full member of The Institution of Surveyors of Kenya (ISK), a licensed and registered valuer by The Valuers Registration Board of Kenya and a Registered Estate Agent under the Estate Agents Act.

Mr. Masika is the immediate past CEO of the STANLIB Fahari I-REIT having joined the team running the first listed REIT in Kenya & East Africa in November 2016.

During his leadership tenure, the REIT successfully grew its portfolio by acquiring a Grade ‘A’ Commercial Office building in Lavington Nairobi. Mr. Masika is a partner at Lloyd Masika Limited and heads the Agency Services.

He is also the current Chairperson of the REITs Association of Kenya (RAK).

Shadrack re-joined JLL in February 2022 and leads JLL’s Transaction Advisory business in East Africa, having joined from Acorn, a Purpose-Built Student Accommodation REIT in Kenya. At Acorn, Shadrack was responsible for acquisition, valuation, and research. He was previously with JLL between 2018 and 2021 as an Associate in the Valuation Advisory division.

Prior to joining JLL, he was as Property Portfolio Manager, where he oversaw the management of a portfolio of office, retail, and residential properties across the key cities in Kenya.

Shadrack focuses on delivering valuation advisory assignments for all asset classes as well as strategic advice and management consulting for investors looking to enter the region, or those that are already present and looking for support with their investment strategy, including Buyside and Sellside advisory and Due Diligence.

Emma Miloyo is a practicing Architect and partner at Design Source with vast experience in the building industry in the East and Central Africa region. She was the first female President of the Architectural Association of Kenya was recognized as one of “Top 40 under 40 Women in Kenya” in 2011 and 2018 by the Nation Media Group’s Business Daily. Emma is an Eisenhower Fellow (2015). She is married with 3 beautiful children.

Emma’s lifelong ambition is to inspire young women and help them break the glass ceiling that has limited their success, especially in male-dominated fields like architecture.

She is a Director at Kiota School where her passion for education and nurturing of young minds extends.

Mbithe Muema is the Chief Business Officer at the Nairobi Securities Exchange. She is an Investment Banker with over 15 years of experience in capital markets, having worked international financial hubs.
Ms. Muema has worked with domestic and international institutional investors and issuers of investment advisory, capital structuring, strategy, financial analysis, investor relations as well Executive Committee.
Prior to her appointment, Ms. Muema is the immediate former Chief Executive Officer of the Infallible Group. She served as the Head of Africa Equity Sales at Exotix Capital, Head of Sales Kenya at African Alliance Research, East Africa at Renaissance Capital, Equity Analyst, Equity Investment Bank all of which have culminated in her passion for empowerment of Africans to generate wealth via the African capital markets.
Ms. Muema served as a Board Director of the Konza Technopolis Development Authority Board (Konza City) a Vision 2030 flagship project worth over Kshs. 200 Billion, where she Chaired the Business Development Committee. She has volunteered with the Ministry of ICT & the Nairobi Securities Exchange on financial literacy & capital raising for corporates.
She holds an MBA from Strathmore University, a Pan Africa EMBA from IESE University in Spain and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Communication from the University of Nairobi. She is a trained accountant and a member of ACCA. She is a certified and trained financial analyst and member of the Institute of Certified Investment and Financial Analysts (ICIFA) in Kenya
She is passionate about African Capital Markets. She’s well served with capital markets and corporate finance and brings her experience to the NSE where in her role she will champion the case for public equity and debt financing as a means of capital expansion and seek to position Kenyan capital market products for uptake by local businesses and investors.

Sam has been in business development for the last 16 years, six in information technology and ten in the construction industry.

He joined the South Korean company Kumkang Kind at the Africa office in Kenya 6 years ago to introduce the Aluminum Formwork System, an alternative building technology for the construction of affordable mass housing.

Sam has since been involved in real estate projects across East and West Africa.

Catherine Kendi Mutungi has been in legal practice for 14 years. She is a Certified Mediator, an Academic, and the Managing Partner at Mutungi Kithinji & Company Advocates in Nairobi. The firm is focused on providing legal support to banks, SACCO’s and SME’s in diverse areas including on project financing, governance and compliance and securities perfection. The firm further advises on disputes avoidance and resolution and routinely represents its clients represents its clients in various dispute resolution forums.
Catherine is meticulous and her analytical skills have enabled her to provide diverse legal perspectives to her clients. She holds a Masters in Law(LLM) in International Development and Human Rights Law from the University of Warwick in the United Kingdom which provides her with an international perspective of social justice matters such including the concept of as Affordable Housing.

Nasra is the CEO and ESG lead of the Kenya Green Building Society, an independent, non-profit, non-political, member-based organization formed to lead the transformation of the built environment in Kenya toward environmentally sustainable buildings, promoting a healthy and efficient built environment.

As a member of the World Green Building Council, the Kenya Green Building Society convenes businesses and the government, at both national and county level, to collectively drive environmental, economic and social impact within the built environment on a national, regional and global scale.

Nasra is a lawyer by profession and has a passion for ESG. She enjoys policy work, and is an active member of the Public Policy and Advocacy committee member of the Kenya Property Developers Association (KPDA), and a member of the Affordable Housing Taskforce in KPDA too.

In terms of experience in legal practice Nasra previously worked for the Kenya and London offices of the largest law firm in the world where she was a member of the global ESG practice group, Corporate Commercial, Real Estate, Environment and Natural Resources teams.

Nasra has an L.L.B from the University of Nairobi, is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya, Commissioner for Oaths, and has completed the Materiality of ESG Factors, ESG Specialisation course from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Alex Njage is a partner in our Nairobi office and is Head of the Kenyan Real Estate and Construction department.

His specialties and experience include:
• commercial and retail property, real estate development, joint ventures, acquisitions and disposals, due diligence and real estate financing. He has particular expertise in structuring of large scale mixed developments, joint ventures, commercial and retail property;
• conservation and tourism development, including the corporate and real estate structuring of private conservancies using models that ensure long term sustainability of flora and fauna and equally importantly, harmonious relationships between the private conservancies and communities living in or around them.

Alex worked alongside Philip Coulson in the establishment of community conservancies in northern Kenya which have improved the lives of pastoralist communities tremendously through income from tourism activists;
• construction and infrastructure development where Alex has advised various clients on an array of construction contracts including FIDIC, the Kenyan JBC Contract.

Ruth has over 16 years industry experience and is responsible for optimizing ILAM Fahari I-REIT real estate portfolio through asset management, market research, data analysis, revenue forecasting and industry reporting to inform business decisions. She was a key team member in setting up Fahari I-REIT which remains the only listed I-REIT in East Africa.

She holds an MA in Property Management and Valuation and a BA in Land Economics both from University of Nairobi, and has been instrumental in the originating, negotiating and closing many property transactions. Ruth is both a Registered Valuer and Registered Estate Agent.

She is a CFA Level 2 candidate. Ruth joined ICEA Lion Asset Management Limited in May, 2020 from STANLIB Kenya Limited where she had worked since 2013 managing assets for pension schemes, REIT and Insurance Companies.

She had previously worked at Knight Frank Kenya Limited for 9 years, where she gained experience within Commercial Agency, Property Management, Valuation, Market Research, Feasibility Studies and Development Advisory.

She is a Full Member and Examiner of the Institution of Surveyors of Kenya and currently serves as a member of the Valuers Registration Board.

Ciru Okobi is the commercial director for Mi Vida and the Garden City development, as well as the head of the Mi Vida Property Management Arm – Auris Property Management. She oversees the commercialization of the entire Garden City estate, with a goal of maximizing the value of the portfolio; that includes a premier retail mall(Garden City Mall), modern residential units(Garden City Residences) and Garden City Business Park with Grade A office space opening in 2019, among other soon-to-be launched projects.

Ciru has over 13 years of combined experience in financial analytics, business development and project management, across healthcare and real estate industries.

Prior to joining Garden City, Ciru worked at RE/MAX in the USA, where she dealt with both commercial and residential real estate projects, including working on restructuring complex real estate transactions in North Carolina.

Ciru holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Business Administration from Boston University (Boston, USA). She also holds a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) and a Masters in Finance, both from Bentley University (Boston, USA).

Dennis Papa Odenyi Quansah is a Green Building Lead at the International Finance Corporation where he leads the IFC EDGE Green Building Market Transformation Program in Kenya, Ghana and Nigeria and serves as a support for the Africa sub region. He works with IFC’s global partners in green building certification and is responsible for identifying early EDGE adopters amongst commercial and residential developers, financial institutions, industry organizations, and other stakeholders; presenting the technical and business case for EDGE; and assisting in registering projects for EDGE certifications. Papa Odenyi works with national and local governments to ensure EDGE is integrated into incentives and policy planning and to assist governments create green building codes on national and local levels

His background is in Urban Development with experience working in the built environment in Africa and has participated in several urban redevelopment projects. He has over the past 10 years provided specific technical inputs for various real estate projects. His expertise includes Sustainable Real Estate Development, Real Estate Marketing and Agency, Real Estate Management, Real Estate Valuation and Business Development. He has also undertaken socio-economic surveys aimed at profiling project affected persons (PAPs) for Property Impact Assessment for Compensation and Supplemental Assistance for voluntary relocation and other resettlement packages.


He holds an MSc in Urban Policy and Development from the London School of Economics and Political Science, (LSE) in the UK and an Undergraduate degree in Land Economy from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science Technology in Ghana. He is also a member of the Ghana Institution of Surveyors.

Graeme has worked in development in the not-for profit, public and private sectors for most of his career, providing strategic advice and leading a range of large scale, mixed use and mixed income developments; urban regeneration projects; commercial developments; and, social and affordable housing developments.

He has lived in Nairobi for the past 11 years. He currently is the CEO of Tilisi Developments.

He was the Development Director at Emerge Developments, a real estate development management and advisory firm; the Managing Director of Athena Properties, the development managers of the 100 acre Two Rivers Estate and the Two Rivers Mall in Nairobi; and was Chief of Urban Planning and Management at Rendeavour, responsible for developments at Tatu City, Kenya and in Ghana and the DRC.

In South Africa he was the first Chief Executive Officer of the Johannesburg Development Agency, Johannesburg’s urban regeneration and economic development agency, responsible for developments such as Constitution Hill, home to South Africa’s Constitutional Court, and Freedom Square, the site of the adoption of the Freedom Charter.

Edwin Rosana holds a BSc (International Business Administration from The United States International University (USIU) and a Certified Public Accountant finalist.

He is also a seasoned finance expert and accountant over 13 years’ experience in Non-Governmental Organizations, Commercial Companies and Small & Medium Enterprises. He brings with him a sound understanding of accounting systems and a passion for quality financial reports. He has been a director at Villasoft since 2017.

Seeta brings over 20 years of international real estate experience focusing on affordable housing investment, policy and research. Her practical experience in the field allows her to facilitate engagement between government, private sector, DFIs, NGOs and the wider public, to improve the enabling environment for affordable housing.

Seeta has an MBA from The Wharton School and a BA from the University of Cambridge, and is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and Institution of Surveyors of Kenya.
She serves voluntarily on the Board of Friends of City Park.

Zoravar Singh is the Managing Director of iJenga, an integrated real estate development and investment company.

Zoravar also serves as a Director of the Kenya Property Developers Association where he Chairs the Affordable Housing Task Force.

Previously, Zoravar served as General Manager for Agriculture at Equity Group Foundation, CEO of Community Lab with The Earth Institute at Columbia University, where he focused on health systems and integrated development in developing countries.

Prior to that Zoravar was a real estate investment banker at Merrill Lynch in New York and he started his career as a management and technology consultant at Accenture.

Jerry is an experienced and knowledgeable professional with 10+ years’ experience of progressive growth within the commercial telecommunication industry. He is passionate about leveraging technology to solve the problems that Kenya and the rest of Africa faces in various industries. His work with various organizations in the Public and Private sector has resulted in growth through increase in revenue, reduction in costs, better ways and improvement in customer experience.

He is a transformational leader with a passion for finding, grooming and growing talent. He has a tenacious commitment to driving revenue and market-share growth and has always been able to explicitly envision, enable, and successfully execute high value complex projects.

He currently leads the Internet of Things (IOT) Business at Safaricom, and his key responsibility is to build and grow this new line of business for East Africa’s most successful Telco by delivering smart solutions that address different challenges in different sectors delivering desired customer outcomes. Prior to this he was the Senior Manager in charge of Large Enterprises & Public sector where he helped to grow Market share in a highly competitive environment, through the introduction of more innovative solutions and strategic value addition.

Jerry is a PhD candidate in Business Administration at Strathmore Business School. He holds an MBA from Strathmore Business School as well as a Political Science Degree, majoring in Government & Public Administration, from Moi University.

George Wachiuri is the CEO and founder of Optiven, a leading brand in the region that encompasses several successful SBUs including Optiven Real Estate, Optiven Construction, Optiven Homes, and Optiven Water, as well as GMC Place in the hospitality industry and food franchises Eagle Peak Spur and Panarottis.

With a goal to create 30,000 direct employees by 2030, George is dedicated to economically and socially transforming society by empowering Kenyans and Africans in the Diaspora to invest in the real estate sector.

He holds a Master's of Business Administration from the University of Nairobi, a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing, and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Wachiuri's entrepreneurial journey was not without challenges, including losing 15 businesses. However, his passion and entrepreneurial spirit never faded and he finally found success with Optiven, a company focused on empowering business people to reach their full potential. Angella heads the Real Estate and Finance practice area at G&A Advocates LLP.

She holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Nairobi and a Master of Laws degree in Environmental Law from the University of Cape Town.

She has ten years’ experience in law specializing in conveyancing and commercial law but her penchant is environmental law and policy.

She has expertise in Environmental Impact Assessment and Environmental Audit, developing environmental and social management systems and sustainability and has advised different financial institutions on green financing.

Kioi is the Co-Managing Director for IHS Kenya responsible for Investments & Asset Management. He comes with over 30 years’ experience in Construction, Engineering, Development Management and Real Estate Investments. Over the years he has gained International experience in the Middle East, Europe, Asia and Africa working across different asset classes and through complete development cycles for sovereign backed asset owners and blue chip Development Companies. He holds an MBA from Bradford School of Management in the UK, an Honors Degree in Civil Engineering from Loughborough University in the UK and a Diploma in Building Engineering from the Kenya Polytechnic. He is affiliated to the Institution of Engineers of Kenya, the Institution of Civil Engineers in the UK, The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in the UK and The Urban Land Institute in the US.

I am Currently Group Investment Manager at CPF Financial Services Ltd and Head of CPF Asset Managers. I have 19 years’ experience in managing investments for High Net worth Individuals and Pension Funds. Previously Headed Natbank Trustee and Investment Services Ltd, a CMA and RBA licensed Fund Manager for 6 years. Also worked as a Senior Portfolio Manager at Co-optrust investment services for 10 years. I was the Project Manager for the Laptrust Imara I-REIT registration and listing that was done on 22nd March 2023.
I have a B.Com Finance from Kenyatta University. A Certified Portfolio Manager by New York institute of Finance (NYIF). Certified Wealth Manager by Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments (CISI Level 3 - UK). Certified Fixed income analyst by Euromoney institute (UK). Certificate in Entrepreneurship for Emerging markets by Harvard University USA. Member of both Institute of Chartered Investment and Financial Analysts (ICIFA) and Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments (CISI).Also a Certified Trustee by RBA in conjunction with Humber University of Canada.

Robert is a property management professional with a background in electrical engineering. He holds an under graduate degree in computer engineering, a master’s of science degree in electrical engineering and a master’s of science degree in finance.

Combining his engineering background and his property management experience, he co-founded Villasoft in 2017 along with Ken Njendu and Steven Chege.
