The Digital Payment Drive by SMEs in Myanmar

Ronald Lee graduated from the Singapore Management University with a degree in Business Management (Finance). Upon graduation, he joined a trust fund as an Investment Analyst specialising in global equities and real estate.

He then moved to Myanmar in 2010 to join his family business, City Mart Holding Co. Ltd. Founded in 1996, the group is Myanmar’s leading retailer with operations in retail, F&B and commercial properties. Ronald began at the group by managing the project management division of the group’s property arm.

Ronald now oversees the development of City Mart Holding’s technology initiatives, notably its e-commerce, loyalty and mobile e-wallet platforms. He is constantly searching for opportunities to apply innovative and disruptive technologies to enable the group to better serve its customers.
