Founder of Thomas Pride International

Peter H. Thomas is a renowned Canadian entrepreneur, investor, author, public speaker, and philanthropist. Major organizations developed by Peter are Century 21 Real Estate Canada, Dogtopia (the International Doggy Day Care company,) the Four Seasons Hotel in Scottsdale, Arizona and the development of Westover Hills, a 1,276 acre parcel of land adjacent to Sea World in San Antonio, Texas.
He established Thomas Pride International, a private investment firm. Thomas is also known for his philanthropic efforts, particularly through the Thomas Foundation, supporting children, mental health, and education. For his notable contributions include founding LifePilot, a values-based living and leadership program, and his involvement with organizations like the Entrepreneurs Organization and the Young Presidents Organization.
Peter has authored many books, has been featured on the cover of numerous magazines, and has been recognized with many awards over the years including the National Caring Award – an honor shared by General Colin Powell and Laura Bush; and the prestigious Ernst & Young Pacific Region Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
For his outstanding commitment to values, ethics, entrepreneurship and quality of life, Royal Roads University was pleased to present Peter Thomas with an honorary Doctor of Laws degree.
