Update on Banking Regulations and effects on Foreign Exchange in Myanmar

Stefan Chapman is a founding partner of SCM Legal and known as one of the first internationally trained transaction lawyers in Myanmar and a well-rounded international lawyer. Stefan is also a Board member of Myanmar Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (MPE&VCA). As a director of MPEVCA, he supports initiatives to help prepare businesses in Myanmar to take advantage of investment opportunities and encourage the continued advocacy by the association on regulatory reform.

As a lawyer based in Myanmar since 2011 he has been involved with numerous PE investments advising both Myanmar businesses and investors, experiencing the challenges which need to be overcome.
