Dr. Philip Mshelbila is currently the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Nigeria LNG Limited and the Vice President of Bonny Gas Transport.

Prior to this, he was the CEO of the Atlantic LNG Company of Trinidad & Tobago. Preceding this position, he held the position of General Manager, Gas for Shell Nigeria and a director of the Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Ltd (SPDC). Before that, he held the positions of Regional Communications Manager for Shell in West Africa and General Manager for Sustainable Development and Community Relations for Shell Nigeria. Prior to that, he was the Managing Director of Shell Nigeria Gas Ltd and Crisis Chief of Staff for Shell Nigeria.

In the course of his over a 25-year career with Shell, he has held various roles including Integration/Planning and Project Development Manager for Gas & Power, Commercial Manager, Private Assistant to the Chief Executive of Royal Dutch Shell in The Netherlands, Regional (Business) Adviser for Africa - Shell International and Regional Health Manager for Africa overseeing 36 countries.

Prior to joining Shell, he worked with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) and National Oil & Chemical Marketing Company Plc (NOLCHEM).

Dr. Mshelbila has a degree in Human Medicine (MBBS), a postgraduate qualification in Occupational & Environmental Medicine from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the IESE Business School of the University of Navarra, Spain.

He loves traveling and exploring new cultures, swimming, and spending time with his family.

Chichi has over twenty-two (22) years of experience in the Oil and Gas Industry spanning the upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors. Her capabilities cut across diverse spectrums including but not limited to business development and strategy, engineering, project conceptualization & management, deals structuring, stakeholder management, technical procurement, and overall contract administration.

She holds a B.Eng in Chemical Engineering from Enugu State University of Science & Technology and an MBA in Oil & Gas Management from the prestigious Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen. She is a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Women In Energy Network (WIEN), and Association of Professional Women Engineers of Nigeria (APWEN), and a certified member of the Council for The Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN).

Chichi started her early career in the Nigerian Oil & Gas industry as a Project Engineer with Exxon Mobil Nigeria Limited where she garnered cutting-edge industry skills and experiences over a 10-year period. She moved on to other organizations where she gathered diverse experience across the entire industry value chain. She is well-versed in negotiating industry contracts and has strong track record of closing commercial deals with venture partners as well as being versatile in structuring and financing projects to ensure optimum value creation for all stakeholders.

Presently, Chichi is replicating her success strides in Neconde Energy Limited as the Head, of Gas Ventures on OML42 where she is responsible for driving the company’s Gas business and positioning Neconde as a lead player in developing Gas supply in Nigeria. Also, Chichi is piloting the development and commercialization of Neconde’s Associated Gas (AG) and Non-Associated Gas (NAG) to boost production in alignment with the company’s strategic mandate of being responsible for about 12% of Nigeria’s total domestic Gas supply. One of her core is the focus on unlocking the company’s Gas potential of over 3.8tcf of Gas reserves for increased value optimization for growth and profitability. Recently. she was one of the keys leads on the team which secured the signed Finance, Technical, and Services Agreement (FTSA) on OML42 which will have an investment of over $1B put into the development of the Asset.

She has served on the council of the Nigerian Gas Association (NGA) in the capacities of Financial Secretary and Secretary General.

He has over 25 years of experience in the Oil and Gas sector. A Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers and a Chartered Engineer with The Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria, COREN armed with a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Warwick University, UK, a Master in Technology (MTech) Petroleum Engineering, Curtin University, Australia, a Masters in Engineering (MEng) Electrical & Electronics Engineering and a Bachelors in Engineering (BEng) Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Universities of Benin and the Federal University of Technology Owerri respectively.
Prior to joining ND Western, his Fields of experience included: Exploration and Production Oil and Gas accountability from Reservoir to Export Point operations as Chief Operating Officer (COO), Neconde Energy Limited, Upstream and Midstream Oil & Gas Senior executive leadership, Operations Management of Nigerian Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG) plant accountable for the 6 Train Operations, Regional Discipline Manager for Maintenance for Shell Companies in Nigeria and Gabon. Asset Manager for SPDC Central Hub Asset with over 1.2bscf/d of gas production and 50kbopd oil producing facilities.
Major Project Management as Operations Readiness Lead for Offshore, Maintenance, HSE, and Logistics in Kashagan Project, Kazakhstan. Global Field Development Consultant with significant front-end field development experience with projects in the Netherlands, UK, Norway, Singapore, Australia, United States, Bangalore, etc. His fields of experience cover: Major Projects delivery, Front-end Field Development, Field Operations, Facility Maintenance, Well Intervention, Gas plant operations, Compressor station operations, Asset Management, New Business Development, Country Entry, Commercial Deal negotiation, Community Relations Management, Government Relations management amongst others

Leye Falade is General Manager, Production. He is a graduate of Electrical/Electronics Engineering from the University of Ibadan and holds an MBA from Henley Business School, University of Reading, UK. He is also a product of London Business School & INSEAD short-term programs. He is a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (FNSE), a member of the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), and a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).

Leye is an accomplished business leader with a distinguished career in developing and implementing innovative solutions that have improved the profitability and performance of world-class organizations. He has broad and significant global exposure complemented by an ability to manage operations and projects in multinational and multicultural environments. His 26 years of experience in the oil and gas industry covers assignments that span various countries in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. He is currently General Manager, Production for Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas Company Limited (NLNG)

Leye is married to Dr. Omolade Falade and they are blessed with children. He enjoys playing golf and engages in capacity building for teenagers and youths.

An alumna of the University of Lagos and Leeds Metropolitan University with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a Master’s in Corporate Governance respectively. She has attended several management and leadership courses including the executive general and advanced management programs of Cranfield University, INSEAD Business School, and the FT (Directors Course) respectively.

Ibiyemi is a Chartered Accountant with over fifteen (15) years of experience in merger and acquisition (M&A) advisory services and strategic planning. She spent the earlier part of her career working with two of the global “Big Four” professional services firms, Deloitte and Pricewaterhouse Coopers, before the transition to the oil and gas industry.

She has supported private equity firms, development finance institutions (DFIs), and strategic investors to facilitate capital deployment into African enterprises across numerous sectors, including financial services, consumer and industrial markets, oil, and gas, power and utilities, healthcare, telecommunications, etc.
In her current role as Strategy and Planning Manager at Axxela Limited, she heads the process of strategy development, business planning, and performance management for the organization.
