DECLARATION

Both the Proposer and the Seconder have to be SASA Full Member (Specialist) in good standing. This will be verified by SASA Admin before membership approval.

PARTICIPATION IN SURVEYS

If you permit to partake in research surveys, the following governance will apply:

the research would have been requested by a SASA member.
the research objective has been approved by SASA Exco.
participation will be limited to one survey per month.
a NDA would have been signed by the researcher member requesting research and a third party, if applicable. Also, the NDA would reference POPIA.
Surveys will adhere to the POPI Act which sets out the minimum standards regarding accessing and 'processing' of any personal information belonging to another.

Upon providing consent each point of contact within a survey series will provide you as member with an opt out should you wish not to continue.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

As a SASA member, I agree to the following:

To abide by the constitution and by-laws of the Society
To notify the National Secretary or National Treasurer of any change in qualification status, employment, or address
To pay all subscriptions and levies annually in full. Invoices will be issued on 1 July of each year (SASA financial year: 1 July – 30 June). In accordance with the constitution (clause 14.2) any member fees not paid will result in suspension. Such suspensions shall be reported by the National Secretary at the AGM. Thus, members must be in good standing.

Being fully paid up:

A member that does not pay his/her annual subscriptions, will need to pay the current and a prior year's outstanding dues before becoming a member of good standing in any latter year.
