Full-time journalism students in their second or third year of study, and third-year public relations students employed in a related field, and whose applications are approved by the committee. Student membership is only valid for one year unless the exco approves that student members' membership be extended for another year but not for more than two (2) years. New members pay a once-off R200 joining fee. Annual membership fees are R200 a year for Student Members.
